      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. When you get unshaped metal out of the forge they are stacked. If you take the stack and shift/click to take them out of the molds, all but one of the molds and ingots are destroyed.
  2. Warning on starvation?

Ahh OK that is not so bad then. The 5% damage would serve as a warning without obliterating your health.
  3. I can't seem to get enough food. Any help?

Meat is the key... kill one animal and you will get enough for a while. I'm in January now and still have a little bit of the pork from the pig I killed on one of my first days. You will want to cook it and store it in vessels as soon as possible to minimize decay and then store most of the vessels in a dark place when you can. You will find tons of fruits and vegetables once you start prospecting... that requires you to wander all over the map pretty much. Grain is a lot harder - at least in my seed. I have not found a whole lot of that. Not sure if that is just the way grain is or if I am unlucky. I found it is kind of difficult to get crops going for the first season... I planted any seeds I found but did not get much from them before winter came. I'm sure the second year would be better since you can start in spring time. But even with mininal crops I still have plenty of food, and there are still loads of animals around my house that I could kill if I needed to.
  4. Warning on starvation?

Is there any way to get a warning on this? I wish you would get a debuff at low hunger like you do at low thirst... that would remind you to eat. I can't tell you how many times I was puttering around in my house and started starving to death. That has never been a problem with water because the debuff makes it obvious you need to drink now. Maybe this could be done as a tiny add-on if it is not included in TFC itself.
  5. Just wanted to say thanks for the great texture pack. I love the style. Dig the block breaking animation too.
