ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -

grab rei's minimap, its very helpful to mark down stuff you see while your punching pebbles. Sand, Clay etc.. dont get married to your spawn, take a look around and if it isnt giving you what you need then move. its pretty scary running to a new location in TFC i take the cowards way and hide in tree leaves at night, Survival FTW!! and luckily making a bed isnt hard at all so you can reset your spawn when ever you need. Oh and remember where you see ravines, i havent found any exposed ore in them but i do find that a propick + ravine=ore. if you happen across an exposed cave entrance you might get very lucky. I have been playing this mod for a bit now and ive just gotten my first tier 3 anvil. it takes patience or much rage depending on your personality but this mod is really fun. -
string and by extension rope would be cool. i dont understand the hemp thing though. hemp has no psychoactive properties at all.

im guessing he did over work the ore, working the ore is still something i struggle with but i do get it done. the buttons to the right move the little thingy right and left to the left. you want to get the movable indicator centered in the stationary indicator all while achieving the recipe instructions (seen on the right). I haven't played this mod a ton but if i remember correctly to shape the ore i use one of the bottom most right buttons then 3 top left buttons to get it in the sweet spot. that might not be exactly what to do but the point would be to get the movable arrow slightly to the right of the stationary one and tap the arrow back to the left.
