personally im fine with the vanilla boats for now, we do need something in the oceans though. i think since most people wont be travelling by boat very far we should leave the deepsea stuff till we have a better way to travel, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't get coastal stuff going. im tired of seeing nothing but a desert populated by squids when i travel, plus i need some fish in my pond and fish tanks also spear fishing, even if its not practical, just for the hell of it. (or buff fishing rods and make them require metal/add nets)

while not necessarily a nod towards realism, i think kilns should be added, as a low end forge/bloomery combo, though possible limiting them to one use at a time. they wouldnt be usable past the bronze age for smelting, but could be good for metal working though as they would of course heat slower than forges, but faster than fires giving a nice intermediate area. plus it would give us an excuse to ask for pottery as well. i dont know about you but the idea of making fire pots out of gunpowder, and possibly alcohols among many others. on another note, anyone willing to recommend a program that works with cgf files? want to experiment with year lengths a bit. p.s. sorry for the sloppy post, its late and im lazy.

so yea ive been busy lately and im bit out of it so this series is off to a rough start but oh well. first episode is a tutorial on getting your first pick and surviving your first few nights so it doesnt have much besides that. second episode it when the LP really starts but its not up yet. anyways hope you guys enjoy any and all feedback is much appreciated im still trying to figure out how im going to record this series so its going to be a bit sporadic for a while. So me and my friend have been planning to do a co-op lets play for a while, and when we finally get around to it, we cant get the server working. we have spent the last 2 or 3 days trying various solutions on the forums and what ever we can think of to no avail. when we attempt to get the server up everything installs without problems, though forge doesnt create a mod folder. everything runs fine until we install TFC into either the jar or an added mods folder in which case the sky is black and the blocks have properties from both TFC and vanilla. SMP works fine for both of us, except for items changing after updating to 51. (so many zinc knifes!!) and even when we're done with the letsplay i would love to be able to host locally so i dont have to wait ages for my crops to grow. if anyone helps us get this working you are awesome and will have a slot in the PVP event we're thinking of starting. [FIXED] after faffing about and clicking on the jar instead of the server.exe i got it working after a few attempts.
