      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. TFC Skyblock

I would definitely check out a TFC based skyblock pack, if it was well put-together. There's nothing quite like a good skyblock! You might need to alter a lot of recipes to use sticks instead of planks though, or maybe a way to make planks from sticks. I look forward to seeing it!
  2. Peekaboo, I'm still ghosting around here, though I don't really post anymore and spend my days hiding credit card ads.

Automated Message:This topic has been moved from Discussion to Suggestions
  5. [Closed] [0.79.28] FeudalFirmaCraft OPEN

Since the server seems to have been down for a while, this topic is now unfortunately closed.
  6. Last comment wins

You know, I held myself back from posting in there for a whole year. To think that I would squash a pittiful 14, pah! Call me when you get to 50

  8. Last comment wins

You two seem to be having altogether too much fun in here. Nobody is getting a 3 hour winning streak while I'm in town!
  9. I came along and changed that no to a yes for you, since it seems like you made a mistake with the form! Let us know if you notice any other errors!
  10. [Solved] Food storage

I'm not making a bug report! Won't the developers be relieved So, I spawned in a crappy starting location. Basalt everywhere, impossible to get flux, or make bronze. I went on a 10k block expedition to find a material to make bronze (which ultimately failed, as I couldn't find silver, or tin, or zinc), and when I came back it was late fall, and my farm took some hits. I harvested everything and managed to store most of it in ceramic vessels. I was wondering if there are any better storage methods that will prevent me from having to unload 20 ceramic vessels every day to cut out the decay. I know I can salt my meat, but unfortunately I haven't found any salt.
  11. The Workshop

So somebody asked how you would store extra doors, to which the answer of just placing them was not well received. The discussion inspired me to build the workshop of an old carpenter who spends his days building doors and relaxing in the hot springs. Full album here: http://imgur.com/a/nc7oo#0
  12. Hello hello! Just so you know, a flawless diamond can be converted to 2 vanilla diamonds by placing it in the crafting grid. Pretty steep price for founding a town, but at least it can be done.
  13. [79.17] Mediterranean Mountains

If you look at the grass, you'll notice it is textured differently. Grass becomes choppy like that when an area's average rainfall is less than 500. You won't find any clay in these regions. You can see the average rainfall by pressing F3. Look for areas with thick grass if you want to find clay.
  14. [Rule #1 - User Error] Barrel Crash

Glad to hear it! I'll add a [solved] tag to the thread for you. If the problem comes back just let us know.
  15. How to starve to death?

This is a very interesting question. So far as I know, there is no such config option. At least, I would expect it to be located here: player { # The maximum achievable health pool total. I:HealthGainCap=3000 # The rate of Health Gain per experience level. Set to 0 to turn off. I:HealthGainRate=20} And I don't see an option for it there. So then there is the second option. I do not know exactly what file you would need to edit, but somewhere there has to be a line that sets 50hp as the minumum. Simply slip in a line that kills you and you should be good. I think com/bioxx/tfc/Core/Player/ would be a good place to start. EDIT: Found it! I'll pm you the details.
  16. [Rule #1 - User Error] Barrel Crash

Hello there! It seems you are using an outdated version of forge, since TFC 79.20 is built with a more recent version. Please try again with forge 10.13.4.1448 instead.
  17. [Rule #2] ore disappearing

Please read the changelog Cave ins now properly propagate to ore blocks, turning them into falling cobblestone. Ore blocks will also now be destroyed by falling blocks, so cave ins that happen above an ore vein that fall onto it will DESTROY the ore. Note that in both of these cases, no ore items will be dropped, as the ore has been destroyed. This behavior can be changed in the configs
  18. [Solved] Animal Pregnancy Time Config

*This post was moved from Discussion/Questions About Salt to Support/Animal Pregnancy Time Config because it was completely unrelated to salt.
  19. Since this server is ashut down, this topic will be locked. If you are the server admin, please follow this link for guidence on how to get the topic unlocked, should you ever bring the server back online. http://terrafirmacraft.com/f/forum-9/announcement-3-offline-servers/
  20. My tremendous intuitive sense of the forums tells me that you are troubled. To edit the thread title, go to the opening post and select "edit" in the bottom right. Then, select the "use full editor" button, which you can find beside the save button. From there, you can simply edit the thread title.
  21. [Server] Server Crash on Login

Hello hello! It looks like your server is using the wrong version of forge. Can you please downgrade to Forge 10.13.2.1291 and tell us if the problem persists?
  22. [Vanilla Bug] boat help [solved]

It's definitely a vanilla bug. It happens all the time on vanilla servers.
  23. Howdy! I'm not sure what version of Forge the server uses, but TFC 79.18 was built on Forge 10.13.2.1291, not the latest version of forge. Have you tried downgrading and seeing if it works?
  24. [0.79.?] Progression flowchart

I think it would benefit greatly from some basic reorganization. Instead of curved lines use squared lines, and bundle lines coming from the same source. It also helps to align shapes to some kind of grid. Note how chisel attaches to smooth stone, pickaxe to both smooth and raw stone, and smooth and raw stone to the quern. If you switch smooth and raw stone around, the arrow from chisel to smooth stone won't intersect the arrow between pickaxe and raw stone. Shuffeling techniques like that will help simplefy the diagram.
  25. TerraFirmaCraft for miners!(Sorta)

I'm going to respond using BB-codes, which I hope will do the job. Wonderful, that worked. The format is as follows: [media.]<the link to the video>[/media.] (Ignore the persiods) If it is a youtube link, it will automatically be embedded in your post.
