I really enjoy building with lumber. But it seems like a bit of a waste to me compared to the amount of planks i get from a tree.... This is somewhat unrealistic getting double the volume planks from a tree ? I bet most of you will dislike my idea, but what if instead of a log giving 8 pieces of lumber it only gives 4 or even just 2 ?

Amazing post! This would add so much diversity to the landscape. If you cut down a tree you will be still left with its trunk, which you need to remove, depending on size either with a shovel or a blackpowderbarrel

Ok, I have to admit, they are beautiful. The main/only reason I called them ungreaceful was, because I was to narrow minded to think of a way, to stick them to a wall. The thing with the fenceposts actually is pretty neat. No I can not say anything against the lamps any more Good Job!

I did not want to complain. I was super happy when I read, lamps were added. And I respect the work you do for this mod . Thank You But this is still the suggestions forum, where everyone should be able to say what is on their minds, without upsetting the developers.

I agree,the new lamps are great, but their model is a bit ungraceful.

2 years ago I made a big survival modpack for the 1.5. Then after a moth or two I lost inerest. Few month later I wanted to play again, but had find that some mods had not been updated to 1.6, especialy the thirst mod I was using, wich was an essential mod in my pack. Searching for a new one, I found Terra Firma Craft and my modpack suddenly useless, because all I wanted for minecraft, was there in one mod. It is amazing to see how far Terra Firma Craft has come. Hello, all Terra Firma Craft devices look totaly awsome, exept the firepit... So I put some thought into it. Here is my idea: The mechanics of the firepit are perfect so they do not need changing, but the firepit construction seems lame in comparison. I really the constuction of the pit kiln, why not use this principle on the firepit? To make the new firepit, you would need 8 stones and 4 sticks (maybe on paper, to make lighting easier, just like in the original one).You start by placing down the stones. Just sneak and rightclick a blog with the stones in hand. Then you do the same with the sticks. Light it and your done. Pretty simple, huh But when you let the fire burn out, you would have to build up the 4 sticks again. Now because the model of the fire pit is also lame in comparison to the loom for example, I decided to make a suggestion for the model: I hope you like it

If we found someone who is able to do this I would offer my help with some of the textures. Unfortunatly I have just very basic knowledge in java and could not make the mod myself.

Looks amazing ! Are you using support beams or planks for the structure?

Higher Tier metals might hold an edge longer. So you will not need to sharpen them that often. And if Whetstone would be difficult to come by there still is a reason to upgrade .
