I've been away from TFC for awhile and wanted to see what's changed. But the "Recent Changes" link on the Wiki isn't showing me anything. Am I doing something wrong?

1 SoodleNoodle2 I am from Indiana on EST3 I have Skype but am willing to try Teamspeak 4 1 ingot = 100 units of ore; 1 rich ore = 35 units; 5 ingots using rich ore = (500/35) = 14.3, so you would need 15 rich ore to make 5 whole ingots5 I have been playing quite a lot of TFC for almost a year, so I know the recent versions quite well.6 I'm not a Youtuber, but like you, I pretty much watch YouTube exclusively instead of tv 7 I'm a mom in my 30s with two kids. I work from home part-time and enjoy playing on the computer w/my kids and other friends. I've been a very active member of a TFC server that is closing this month and am looking for a new community to join. Your goals for Ursine Nation Life on the Frontier very much aligns with how I'd like to play TFC. Hope to "meet" you soon!

Thank you. I think copying real-life buildings is easier in TFC due to the chiseling and many awesome blocks to choose from.

Ok, so I did not know you had to craft a name tag. There is no mention of it on the wiki and the changelog doesn't say how to craft or use one. I just assumed it was like MoCreatures where you are prompted to name animals. So, let me get this straight. First, feed an adult female to get it to the "cap." Breed the female and feed the baby until it has a gold heart. Craft a nametag somehow and then name the gold heart animal? Sorry to be a bother, I do try to read the wiki and changelog first. Am I missing where it gives the recipe for a nametag? Thanks again!

Thank you - that does help me understand the "cap" situation very clearly now. However, I still have a problem with my sheep having a bit of their heart filled one day, then the next TFC morning it is empty again. This happens regardless of whether I've sheared it or not. It seems to be the rams that tend to do this. I am playing on a server, as well, but I have been the only one on for hours. Also, I did feed my baby cow to the point where it has a gold heart, but I did not get prompted to name it. Do I need to wait for it to grow to adulthood to name it? What happens if I am not on the server and when it reaches adulthood? Thanks again for you help!

I have read the wiki and forums and know that it is possible to name animals after their hearts get full and turn "gold." However, I cannot seem to get any of my animals to this point. Some animals get "full" enough for me to ride/milk/shear, but won't fill more than that, even with daily feeding. At least they retain this level of fullness if I miss some days of feeding. Then I have some "new" sheep who I have been faithfully feeding each TFC morning, and just when their heart gets a tiny bit of red so I can shear them, the next morning it is empty again. I am sneak-feeding each day. Is there something I am missing? Does shearing sheep reduce their hearts? Also, for horses, do you need to ride instead of feed daily to increase heart to "gold"? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Well, I've only been on about 3 months, so it's still new to me. Just finished my house... Seems like there could be some more things done at spawn if people are looking for projects?
