      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  3. Are you sure it's a bug? Because I see on your pic that you did draw last. For me the correct sequence is: I've heard that I messed up with action pictures order (so the "punch" picture should be the first), but not sure did I fix that. Anyway the recipe works. If you are sure that it is a real bug, then make sure that you are using the latest version. You can also try to make a shield in a new world. But I'm not sure that the bug is mine: TFC recipe manager handles all anvil recipes, I've just registered one.

    logs/fml-client-latest.log. But it can appear that there will be no messages about the cellar (bug) - check you walls. Anyway, try to rebuild the cellar with other sizes or in another location.

    You can try to set "Debug" to true in the config file (config/tfccellars.cfg), restart the application and watch in the log/console for messages after breaking and placing the cooling block again.

    No, see below. Please do check the config file. It seems that that is my fault: I've set default "temperature with coolant" ("TemperatureIceHouse") to "1" in 1.1. If so, set it to any value below or equal zero.

    Are you sure that you have loaded the cellar with right coolant and the stack decreased it's size by 1? No, I don't want the entire save. Though you can zip the new world save, if it has the issue too (and make sure that the cellar is fueled with coolant). Cellars will show higher than environment low temperatures due to the fact that cellars work in both "sides" and it's impossible to detect is a cellar under the surface (it supposed to be build there).

    What temperature do display the cellar? It should show "below zero" if there is coolant in an Ice Bunker. Did you edit the config file? Try to delete it. Could you send me archived save via PM?

    There can be problems in rare cases when not all cellar chunks are loaded. When you are 11 chunks away (in singleplayer) from the cellar for example.
  10. No, I've tried to make bronze in a pit kiln (7 copper, 1 tin, 25u per piece).
  11. As usual pit kiln it doesn't make alloys and cook (burn to ashes) food.

    Set "debug=true" in the "config/tfccellars.cfg" and try to figure out what's the problem by messages in the console. The problem with the walls or corners if there will be no messages in the console. Or just send me your world.

    No way. Mobs will not be spawned in the latest version (you can check this in creative with eggs and spawners). No, you can't chisel cellar's structure and blocks inside.

    Current version of the mod is the final version. Devs will no make an update anymore. It is impossible or very hard to make a complex environmental model even with changes in API and classes accesses. The problem is in temperature cache - it is keeps temperatures in two dimensions: X and Z. So if you'll try to get a cached raw temp in coordinates X Y Z, you'll get the same temperature on the same X Z and any height. Changing current temperature cache model means change value retrieving and calculating methods - that's not possible without ASM or making big changes in the TFC Core. And implementing the third dimension in the temperature cache can affect performance significantly.
  19. As far as I know, on of the key ideas of Java was to be forward compatible: an application or a library written say with Java 5 will work on a JVM with greater versions. If you didn't used features from Java 8 in your mod code (or didn't set your mod to work only with Java 8 or greater versions), your mod will work both on Java Virtual Machines 7 and 8. Oracle has stopped releasing public updates for Java 7 about a year ago, and it was ra good reason to stop using Java 7, but I don't know why some users are still using it.

    No, it doesn't being showed in F3 menu. However Shelves and Ice Bunker inventories have an icon in the left top corner - hover the cursor and the tooltip will show current temperature. By default, the temperature varies and set to -1 (food doesn't decay) if a cellar has ice or snow inside it's Ice Bunker or set to year average environmental temperature divided by 5 otherwise. The temperature does not depend from amount of snow or ice (if a cellar has any).
