ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -

Hey, it is currently late fall of my first ever TFC game ad I was running some numbers for the spring which will be my first ever planting season. The wiki gave me a lot of useful information and I used it to calculate my crop yields for all my food bearing crops which will be 83.5 pounds. I was wondering if this would be enough for one season? Two, how do I irrigate an inland farm if I don't have the special steel buckets to transport the water source blocks? I read over the wiki and it gave me the impression I only had those wood buckets for transporting water to barrels and the red and blue steel buckets for lava and water specifically. Can I still make vanilla buckets(using the new smithing system), and can I make these buckets out of copper? The wiki only goes over using red and blue steel while ignoring other metals completely.

As a musician I would suggest you add in brass instruments. Trumpet, trombone, tuba, and euphonium so that players can play symphonies in the winter. I'd probably only suggest one sound from one instrument and not a full octave or such as the sound blocks in vanilla. That way you can also tell people that their useless brass can now be made in to instruments.*Note This is a joke*

Hi, I have a question about different types of stone. Specifically I'm looking for igneous intrusive and saltrock, but I've searched for thousands of blocks in every direction, and I just can't seem to find them. Should I be searching underground for them? I'm specifically trying to find igneous intrusive rocks so I can search for cassiterite, and I'm searching for saltrock to be able to preserve food. Any information I've looked up seems to be outdated or very non descriptive. If it helps the only rocks I can find on the surface are limestone and andesite. The search is really getting quite desperate as I'm almost through early autumn and have no idea how I will feed myself or if I'll be able to enter the bronze age before spring where my time will be spent planting and doing above groundy things.
