      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. Clay doesn't spawn in areas that have a rainfall of (I believe) less than 500. You can check the rainfall by pressing F3 and finding it among all the information displayed. The area you're in probably has a rainfall value of 250. I can't say with 100% certainty; but I'm sure if you go far enough East or West, the rainfall value will eventually go up.

  2. Recently, I found some native copper. I collected enough pieces from the site and other locations to get a pick, a propick, and a saw. I did the usual trick of finding the approximate center of the vein. I was getting only trace readings, so I figured it must be fairly deep. I dig straight down and almost immediately find a piece of rich copper. Awesome. I dig around to make a basic 5x5 hub for my mine. I found only one other piece. I eventually got fed up and went into creative to see if there even was any left. All I ever found were the two pieces.

Have you read the rules? Yes

Do you understand that Estasi l'Ateaum many not be suitable for individuals under the age of 15? Yes

What interests you about Estasi l'Ateaum?

It seems like a relaxing server without too much worry.

How experienced are you with TFC?

I've been playing on and off for about 1.5 years.

    A couple of questions:

How active are we expected to be? I can get on a fair bit just fine, but I'm a parent and there are days where I just can't get on. Also, I'll be out of the country for all of October; so I'll be gone a whole month.

Does this server have owls in it. If not, it's not a big deal; I'm just really fond of owls is all.

  4. Not sure if this is a feature or not, but my animals keep escaping my pens. I'll go off for a little while and come back to find one of them is on the loose. What must I do to ensure that they stay where they're supposed to?

  5. Wild crops die of old age. In other words, if they are at 100% growth for a long enough period of time they die. There is a system in place to account for unloaded chunks, so you can just assume that all crops are always growing and the timer for dying of old age is always ticking.

Oh, okay. Thanks for the response.

  6. So it's still the first year in game. Still between the seasons of Spring and Late Summer. Temperature is around 17C during nights. I walked around a huge area and generated tons of wild crops. I marked their locations, planning to come back and harvest them when needed. It's Summer now (still first year) and it seems like they've all degenerated. Am I overlooking something?
