      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. Calendar time in single player

    I've found it's possible to force season changes with large set-times on my server (IE set time 6000000). As SSP is going to be based on the SMP code soon enough, just enable cheats and set time to change seasons.

    Try deleting it with an inventory editor.
  3. Animal Processing

    To make up for the fact it's going to takes 6 months (that is a lot of out of game hours man) to grow an animal to full size I suggest we should get more useful things from each animal. I'd suggest a 'fattening' mechanic, letting us grow our pigs larger than normal before we slaughter them, possibly with slop or another special feed, but we're only supposed to have one suggestion per thread so moving on. The main idea is when you kill an animal it would drop a corpse. The corpse could either be a block in the case of larger animals or an inventory drop in the case of small things like chickens. Using a knife with the corpse would open a butchering GUI and let you cut things off the animal at the expense of wearing down your knife. I don't support a gory GUI here but a menu of things that can be harvested would be nice instead of just "right click with knife, item explosion" scenarios. Bones, hide/fur, fat, meat, guts, scraps and maybe anything else worth including (feathers for chickens, ink sacs for squids) would be here. If there's a way I'd suggest using the already existing code for metal cooling to keep track of decomposition, but that also implies a way of curing or storing things. Sorry for forcing the double suggestion in there but right now pigs have felt pretty useless and un-meaty compared to cows.
