      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    Here is a thought. Since we already have months and so forth in TFC then why no have biome generation where if you go really far north or south the number of snow biomes you bump into increases etc (or something similar) however since i know pretty much nothing about computer coding i don't know whether this would be possible...
  3. Encumbrance

    I don't think it should only be incentive for higher tier or encourage you to ware no armor at all because say you wore leather armor your swimming would be basically unaffected as would your movement (running etc) but u would still have some protection (downside is that u have very little protection) and so on and so forth so its a less higher tier lower tier and more different armor for different situations.

    I'd just like to say would that be such a problem? because new tech or gear that is better than the rest makes u dominant till all others get it or develop something better (e.g plate armor beat leather etc then gun beat armor) so its not like you would be unstoppable because you have pretty good armor...
  5. Old flames

    Isn't that similar to what sappers would do when attacking a fortified town? They would dig under a wall and then they would start a big fire which would eventually cause the wall to crumble (this was however before the invention of explosives...)
  6. Ore generation- Is this permanant?

    Thinking about that you could do similar thing with ores as with "rocks" in one of the recent updates (instead of flint on the ground u get the same stone as in the general vicinity) there could be small surface deposits but that tells you what ore is in that area. (say i found a small amount of iron on the surface i would know that if i went mining there i would likely find more.)
  7. We have cave-ins, why not sink holes?

    Here is an idea, if TFC already has cave-ins couldn't the same mechanic mean that if say there is a cave not very deep under ground (say only 3, 4, 5 blocks blow the surface) you could have it collapse and all the land above it would collapse, it could be effected by how many blocks are on the surface; say you built a large house above a cave it could collapse destroying your house meaning people would have to be careful of where they build. What do you think?

    Also with the wiki it says very little about rock knapping (most recent update) i had to work out on my own how to make things like shovel heads, hammer heads etc.

    I Dont know why (if its just i didnt install properly or somthing elce) but you are ment to get flint from small stones on the ground (to make a tool) but instead of flint i get things like Granite Rock (not a block but what looks like some kind of shard). Why is this happening and can i fix it?
