      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. [0.79.29] DarkAgeCraft Off Line

Minecraft user name: Eskamoe_II Your Age: 25 Your Time Zone: GMT -4 Location Country and State: Indiana, USA Tell us a bit about yourself: I'm a long time minecraft player (on and off) and originally got into TFC when it launched the SMP version, had no interest in it before that, though I haven't played it in a good 8 months at this point. Rather enjoy the community aspect of TFC with road constructions being a favorite of mine, especially if they actually serve a purpose, ie limited or preferably no teleportation available. How can you help us: I'm a decent individual and enjoy working in groups, towns and the like. Also I'm great with a frying pan.
  2. Age: 24Minecraft Username: EskamoeWhy would you like to join?: I'm hopping back into TFC after a short break from minecraft and have been perusing about for a good server to join and reintegrate myself with the changed TFC bits since last I played. Rather enjoyed some of the whitelist standards shown throughout the thread so figured I'd give it a try for the server. Hoping to find a good single server to join, not fond of having to server hop about. What previous experience do you have with TerraFirmaCraft and Minecraft in general?: Regarding Minecraft I've been about and playing various mods, vanilla, or likewise since shortly after survival made is debut. Additionally I've tinkered about with mod files here and there, more for compatability concerns than creation, ran as a moderator on a few servers, an Admin once or twice on others, albietly babysitting gets tiring very quickly on some of the more populated servers. Picked up on TFC and have mostly been sticking to this mod for the majority of my minecraft time. Regarding TerraFirmaCraft I started in with it when the mod moved from Alpha to Beta (Twas when the first multiplayer for TFC came online. Didn't really interest me until it was available as such.). I played consistently for a good while from that point, occassional breaks and reunions with the mod after that. Left off minecraft in general for a while, life and such, now coming back to it, looking forward to the changes in TFC. Rather miss the days of world breaking new updates coming out every half-week, adding an array of new things and such.Any additional information that would help your case: I've played through every element of TFC that existed when I last broke off of the mod. With a fair bit changed I've been rather eager to run through the stages of TFC again, personally enjoying the interaction with other players in trade, development, advancement, etc etc the greatest. Have a rather large fondness for road systems in TFC interacting with established towns, mining outfits, and the like.
  3. [0.79.15] Rhodance's "HugBox" Server [Closing May 22]

IGN: Eskamoe Been out of the TFC world for quite a while now, just looking about for new servers with my old ones from way back yonder dead and rusting. Hopped into the TS, but think I caught you on an off time. Figured I'd post up here as well.
  4. I'll likely not be on till its updated as well, but figured I'd get it out of the way. IGN: Eskamoe Age group: Twenties TIme zone: UTC -5 but playtime is eratic
  5. Why was Smartmoving removed from the server?
  6. Might pop in and give it a try myself IGN: Eskamoe
  7. [B66] High Tier Metals

Haha, its nothing against you. Mistaking high-carbon steel for the finished product is a terribly common mistake and has led to many short moments of flustration and confusion for players; experienced and beginner alike. I point it out simply as an extra nudge to check so that it does not lead to other troubles and wasted time. That aside, did you try as I said?
  8. [B66] High Tier Metals

I personally have never had the issue of being unable to make a tool perfect due to the goal being too far right; that being said, the target creation zone does change with every world and metal type so its not totally implausible for a "perfect storm" event to occur where the furthest hit rules are combined with a target area so far to the right that it prevents proper creation. If you want a check though incase it is just really close, get a steel ingot (Make sure it is Steel, not High Carbon Steel) and center the green bar directly on perfect without triggering the finishing rules. Next use these exactly in the order they're put: Upset Upset Bend Draw Draw Light Hit Try it even if it looks too close. If the ingot is lost in the process, then there is a error in the code that needs to be addressed (random range for target area can go too far to the right for knifes). If it works, its just very close to the point of loss.
  9. [B66] Quern - Item Duplication Bug

No, I run smart moving, rei's mini-map, and a macro mod; although that is of no issue as I've replicated this bug with a clean recommended build (ie no added mods).
  10. [B66] Quern - Item Duplication Bug

Huh, looked a bit for another post for a similiar bug, didn't see one in the support thread. Guess I need to look harder next time. Anywho; This bug does not only happen to you and I. It has occured to many on my end. These are not ghost items that dissappear a bit after. They create fully functional, lasting duplicates.
  11. [B66] Quern - Item Duplication Bug

This bug causes item duplication doubling whatever item/item stack was used. To replicate this bug, simply place a Quern down and access its gui. Place whatever item you wish to use in your hot bar and shift-click it. The item will hop around different spaces in your hot bar, doubling its stack each time, or hop up into your inventory if the rest of your hot bar is full, also doubling it. Not sure if it matters, but this bug occurs whether the handstone is in the quern or not. Tested by many clients, all have the same bug occur. Tested using many different item/block types. The item/blocks used specifically for this report include: Steel Ingots Meal (Haste) Cooked Steak Tool head: Steel Sword Dirt Block The bug does not occur with created tools, both damaged and undamaged. Nor does it occur with filled wooden buckets. The items still hop around as described above, but are not duplicated in this process. EDIT: Tested in SMP as well as SSP with a clean recommended build. Both produce the bug.
  12. You First name: Sven How old are you?: 22 Do you have Xfire/Skype?: Skype, Yes Xfire/Skype name?: Not giving it out, I don't use it often anywho. In game name: Eskamoe how long have you been on Minecraft?: Oh hell, since early Alpha if memory serves. Do you agree with the way I have decided to run my server?: Wouldn't be applying if I didn't. If you had to change or add one rule to my server, What would it be?: I would add a rule disallowing open-ended questions on white-list apps. I hate those things. Optional, Add an image of one of your creations!:
  13. [Offline][B47f] RDMC | 20 slot | Whitelisted

Anywho, IGN: Eskamoe Age: 22 Have a mic?: Ayep, use team speak regularly as well Any other info: I like long walks on the beach and hate open ended questions?
  14. Arrow Heads: Stone and Beyond

The quantity you get in exchange for the durability as it effecs other items would be a nice touch. I assume it could be made so that multiple items can be stacked on the output slot when you smith it?
  15. Horses!

Not just transports, imagine using horses for mounted combat. Dashing by firing arrows into a creeper, or setting up a fancy jousting tournament with the Javalins (or newly introduced lances?) Additionally - Saddle bags? Similar to the chest in a mine cart, simply on a horse. And as for stationing a claimed horse, right click as you would wolves?
