      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. Hi. I've been working on this modpack for quite some time now, and I think it's about timeto write a post about it on the TerraFirmaCraft forums. I'd like to present my modpack; TerraFirmaCraft Reloaded to you, and invite you to play it. I've figured since there are already a lot of modpacks out there, where the main focus is tech mods, I don't want this modpack to contain any of that. What I've chosen to focus on instead, isenhancing the environment the player traverses and lives in, as I wish to give the player the best experience possible in a nontraditional way, while still trying to be as true to nature as possible. The modpackis of course built around TerraFirmaCraft itself as the point of focus, and isn't just the typical "advance from the stone ages to the modern times". While travelling around in your world you might stumble upon some dungeons, in which a lot of tough monsters might try to defeat you. Furthermore when you perhaps need to cross the living ocean, in order to find new landswherepreviously unavailable crops and plants grow, might find something attacking you fromthe depths below. Additionally, the world is scattered with a large variety of birds and other animals, such as rabbits and mice - but also some to watch out for. We've got an open and friendly Discord server, and encourage everyone to join it - even if you've just got one question, or just want to say "hi"! You can find the different download links for the client and server versions of the modpack over on CurseForge here. We've got an open public server running this modpack. It's hosted by a nice fellow, who's going by the name "DEMMERS". To join it, simply click the "Server" button in the main menu. Here's some screenshots: The modpackcontains the following mods:
  2. Island Survival Life

Version : 0.79.29 Seed : Where Am I? There's a good mix of starting ores on an entirely schist Island. There seems to be an archipelago of Islands almost completely devoid of trees. But when you find them you might wish you hadn't. There is some food and animals on the starting island but you might do well to keep some of them as transporting animals back to a base on this Island could get tricky. If you choose to stay here then you will need saplings. Enjoy. PS: I challenge anyone to get to blue steel in Hardcore mode with this seed.
  3. Effects caused by pain

These should be effects for when you take heavy damage: Falling in lava: Blindness, and strong random head movements. 4. My hardcore playthrough

Hey guys, I was working on a story playthrough a while back and my computer pretty much died and I lost all my minecraft worlds. I just recently got a new computer and decided to start up a brand new hardcore world. I will be taking screenshots and documenting my playthrough in this post so I hope you guys like it! I am using some mods that, imo go well with TFC. I was inspired by some of these mods by watching Etho's TFC let's play. -Decorations mod -Leather Water Sac mod -Merchants mod (Might not use this mod, it looked interesting though) -TerraMisc -TFC Cellars mod -Better Foliage -Carpenter's Blocks -Custom NPCs (This mod is just to add/adjust certain recipes) -Decocraft 2 -Journeymap -NEI -Optifine -Fastcraft -Railcraft -YeGamolChattels (aka the woodworking mod ) -IvToolkit (Required for YeGamolChattels) -Shaders I created a new reandomized world and this was where I spawned. It was a pretty hot climate and the stone type was limestone, which was perfect for flux. Looking around a bit, there was Sycamore, Aspen, and Ash trees. Aspen is one of my favorite trees because of the color of its planks. Since the rock type was Limestone, there was quite a bit of malachite scattered about so I picked it up and marked the locations on my map. I spent a few days just exploring and scavenging what I could. I am really picky when it comes to places to settle down, I had an idea of how I wanted to build my homestead so I was looking for a decent spot. After many days of living in dirt hovels, my inventory was getting quite full and I wanted to start planting crops to get a steady source of food. I then came across a spot I would be happy to set up base at. It had a nice pond of fresh water, and a huge mountain not too far away. There was only Ash trees in the immediate vicinity but that was alright because I grabbed some saplings of the trees that were near spawn. There was a small outcrop of clay by the pond which I dug out a bit and will spend my nights there until I build a real house. I unloaded all my stuff from my inventory and planted all my seeds I had picked up. I eventually want to expand my farm and maybe make it go all the way around the pond. I also want to monitor the nutrients in the soil but I only have a stone hoe so I can't do that just yet. I had quite a bit of copper so I decided to make some tools. I made a Saw, Chisel, Pickaxe, and Prospectors pick. The next thing I wanted to do was build a cellar to store all my food and prevent decay as much as possible. Since I am in a hot climate my food decays pretty fast and I had a lot of food from when I was exploring. I dug out a spot by my farm to build the cellar. I wanted to build it as fast as possible so it's not a very big cellar, but it will work just fine. After spending a couple days gathering all the necessary ingredients, I started construction. I was finished in no time and I covered the top of the cellar in dirt. So far it has 2 shelves which holds all of my food, and maybe in the future when I build the tool for it, and if I find ice, I can harvest the ice and make the cellar even colder. I made some barrels and started the leather making process. I had killed a couple Deer so I had some medium hides. I wanted to make a leather water sac, a quiver, and maybe some leather armor. I then realized I didn't have the right trees to make tannin. I was going to have to go on a grand adventure to find some tannin makin trees! I also really wanted to find Pine trees because I really like Pine. I crafted a long bow using some Deer sinew and made some arrows too. I grabbed a barrel with some ceramic vessels and I was ready to head out on my adventure. Here is my home base so far. Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed! More to come shortly!
  5. The pack is now updated to 0.79.29. TerraFirmaPunk(TFP) is a HQM (Hardcore Quest Mode) mod pack built around TerraFirmaCraft(TFC)and introduces SteamPunk and industrial age mechanics blended with gritty Jules Verne style adventuring through lost cities, vast wilderness, sunken steam ships and maybe even to the center of the earth. The technology in this pack is introduced at a slow steady pace that is kept on par with the standard TFC progression where each level of advancement is built on top of the previous levels. The mobs have been significantly altered and many now come equiped with their own steam powered technology and enhanced AIs that will give all but the most warry adventure a tough challenge. Some abandoned buildings may even contain special boss monsters that will even be challenging for small groups. The quest book is not only a hands on guide to all of the TFC basics but also contains hundereds of hidden challenges, puzzles and secret quests that can only be unlocked when the right conditions are met. TerraFirmaPunk is still a WIP however the quest book is complete, all of the quests are functional and the pack is fully playable. This pack can be found on the FTB launcher (http://feed-the-beast.com/launcher) through a third party pack code: TerraFirmaPunk For more information about TerraFirmaPunk come visit me on the FTB forum thread here: http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/1-7-10-terrafirmapunk-terrafirmacraft-steampunk.53519/ or my YouTube Channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/MrOneWolfe Pack Code: TerraFirmaPunk Mods included: TerraFirmaCraft Galena/Limonite Extraction for TFC Lanterns for TFC Leather Water Sac for TFC Antique Atlas Archimedes Ships Armor Status HUD BiblioCraft Carpenter's Blocks Cogs of the Machine CritterPet DamageIndicators DynamicLights ElectriCraft GraveStones Hardcore Quest Mode Infernal Mobs MeteorCraft Necromancy Not Enough Items Ruins Professor Flaxbeard's Wondrous Steam Power RailCraft Ropes+ RotaryCraft Sound Filters Streams TerraMisc Tubes Twilight Forest WAILA Zombie Awareness
  6. You guys asked for it and here we are bringing it to you. That's right, a modpack with TFC as the base mod and many progression options later on, including but not limited to Thaumcraft, Progressive Automation, Automagy, even Hardcore Questing mode directing you all the way through TFC! It doesn't even end there! Continue reading if you are intrigued: Features: Significant increased difficulty in early game thanks to TerraFirmaCraft. 200+ Quests planned (currently 100+, will be updated continually through beta) to help learn new mods and experience known mods in a new light. Mod integration and pack creation by Charles and CBro, rewriting recipes, new oreDict entries and changes to the value of items (Vanilla cobblestone is valuable, what?!). Brings back the fear of darkness from early MC, making shelters 100% absolutely necessary. A complete rebalance of fighting. An absolute overhaul of vanilla systems, including, health, food, hydration, sanity, physics, water mechanics, mining, encumbrance, storage/inventories, you name it. Everything is significantly more satisfying to accomplish, even gathering sticks to make torches (which has another complete overhaul). My only advice going into this pack is you need toforget everything you know about Minecraftand start unbiased. Mobs will act differently, they can hear you through walls and track you from what seems to be forever away. No punching trees anymore! Gravity and cave-ins are possible. Endgame is truly rewarding! No more plugging up a quarry hooked up to an infinite power cycle any more, there is nothing that is infinite, but there are fun loopholes to exploit and feel powerful about. Be the first one to find a new one! This modpack is like NOTHING you have ever seen before, remove all expectation because you will be surprised by everything. This is not Minecraft anymore, this is D.I.E. Currently the creators have over 150 hours into creating this pack and it has been in Alpha for months. It has been tested several times by the community over at MineYourMind.net and we feel as if it is ready for a public release. We are hosting a public server and would love to see you there! You will find us personally on our publicServer IP:delta.mym.li:25550 UPDATE: Released 0.9.1 with several updates, including lots more quests, the TFC lantern addon mod (thanks to grimbug for the suggestion) a lot of recipe balancing and mod updates. It was a focus on SP Stability as top priority and in those efforts made our server a lot more stable as well. Check out the Home Base for the full changlelog! How to Download: Currently the pack is hosted on theMineYourMind Launcher. Please take a look at our changelog, modpack list and credits over at ourHome Base. While it saw some success, seeing actual organized raids on attackers versus defenders, it was hampered by the limitations of Vanilla Minecraft, and was ultimately shut down. This all changed when I, Sting_Auer, learned of Terrafirmacraft. The combination of an overhauled resource system, and the overall slowed pace of the game, solved the problems that faced Vanilla Aquor. With a new tool bestowed by Bioxx and Dunkleosteus, the developers for Terrafirmacraft, I forged a new server, and Aquor saw greater success than it once had. While the playerbase was initially smaller, the game was much more engaging and thought-provoking. Risks needed to be weighed more carefully, and player cooperation – as well as competition – was more meaningful. Now, unlike in Vanilla Minecraft, civilizations pour their resources and labor power into powerful castles and fortifications instead of building obsidian cubes floating in the sky. With the increasingly region-dependent resource distribution, inter-civilization trade is becoming more and more important. Changes to metalworking have made it easier for new players to get off the ground and start playing, while still giving more established players a defensive advantage, if not an offensive one. This server has had its ups and downs, and its goals as a server and a community have changed over time. The current plan is to raise enough money to build a proper dedicated server machine, and afford greater bandwidth, resulting in a higher player cap. Donations are accepted, and Subscription is available to those that would like something in return for supporting the server. Customer support: If you have any questions, suggestions, complaints, or criticisms, please post them on our forums or send an E-mail to [email protected]. Rules: To maintain a friendly, but still competitive environment in Aquor, certain rules must be followed. While we wish to grant players as much freedom as possible, there are certain behaviors that must be restricted to make the gaming environment enjoyable for as many players as possible. These rules are listed here: 1.) Profanity is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, saying or alluding to Rape, discussing sex in a joking or unprofessional manner, and other similar topics. 2.) Cheating of any kind is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, combat logging, X-ray texture packs, hacking clients, speedhacks, flighthacks, noclip, griefing clients, etc. 3.) Personal attacks on other players is not permitted. Banter between players is fine, as it is a part of the competitive gameplay. 4.) The admins have final say in what happens on the server. That being said, you can voice your opinions in a respectful manner, and the admins will listen. 5.) Griefing and raiding are allowed, but don't be a jerk about it! The point of this server is to have fun, not make others feel bad or quit the server. Making people leave is a loss for everyone, not just the quitter. 6.) Always be courteous to other players. If something you are doing is interfering with another players ability to enjoy the server experience, then you should stop! Unless it breaks a rule or stops you from enjoying the server in the way it is meant to be played, there is no need to continue. 7.) Metagaming, while it can't be stopped, is heavily discouraged. Metagaming entails causing other players to quit, doing things outside of the game that are detrimental to others (regular communication is fine), or anything that works outside of the intentions of the game. Not only does it ruin the fun for other people, but it's actually detrimental to the server itself! 8.) Outside of ~9KM from spawn, you are not allowed to farm. This is a soft limit, so if you are afraid that you are breaking it, contact an admin and they will check your coordinates and location to make sure it's okay. Ban appeals: The friendly people at Aquor want to give hopeful players a second chance. If you simply fill out one of these applications and post it in this thread, we will get back to you at the earliest opportunity. What is your in-game name? ANSWER HEREWhat were you banned for?
