      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. Bug catching and Bee keeping

An interesting feature I'd like to see late game for collectors like me would be the introduction of a bug net, bug catching, and bee keeping. --First off would be Bees, Butterflies, and Moths, which could be retrievable by using a bug net on flowers that have an appropriate sprite attached to them. These three could believably be sprites that are rotated to always face the player (like sprites used to be used in old school "3D" games like wolfenstein and marathon did to express round objects). --Second up could be ants and centipedes which could logically be gathered by adding one to the player inventory at randomwhen picking up rocks, meaning they wouldn't need to actually be view-able in overworld prior to capture, and once penned would only need to be a sprite. --Third i would say beetles, mantis and maybe silk worms (to function as an alternate possible source of silk and string) with silk worms falling from manually broken leaves, and beetles being found on the sides of trees( though due to beetles typically being rotund would likely need a model, but maybe not) as well as added in the same manner as ants and centipedes. Mantis would be found on trees, rocks, tall grass and flowers and would be that respective color and could conceivably be a rotating sprite like butterflies, silk worms would need no overworld sprite like ants --Butterflies, Moths, Mantis, Ants, Centipedes, Mantis, Silk Worms and Beetles would be displayed in craft-able terrariums that could maybe come ind 2-3 different sizes to accommodate the showcasing of different quantities (with the largest being a construct-able in a similar manner to things like the blast furnace, maybe made compatible to use on fish as well?) with each insect having different color and pattern swaps to emulate the diversity of the insect world, and to create a wider selection to gather and collect. --Bees would need to be stored in a bee hive boxes near flowers or crops to create honey, and maybe a minor speed up of crop growth, with at least 1 bee needing to be moved to a terrarium before winter as having them in the bee box or any non-terrarium inventory would cause them to "die" and disappear. Some players like me are collectors, and i now me and my significant other always end up gathering all the critter types possible, to create preserves of sorts with separate livestock from our farm/ranch that effectively serve as pets. I've been known to build sun resistant pens and storing named hostile mobs in pairs just to finish my displays, and i think the introduction of bug catching would add a lot of late game fun for people like me( not really sure if we're a niche group or not) i did search bug catching, terrarium, and insects, but i didn't see anything, so hopefully I'm not rehashing anything Would love to hear others opinions. So whadya think
