      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. Ok, my last seed request was a bust. I found igneous rock, but it took me a while to get away from spawn. Here's my updated requirements(although I'd like to have someone delete my previous request, or archive it for posterity, idk). Ok, the requirements for this seed: Tons of copper/cassiterite close to spawnPlenty of wood near spawn for a charcoal pit(Either a Douglas Fir, Willow, or Sequoia forest)Must be relatively flat land at water level. Speaking of water, I'd like a pool of fresh water nearby for easy thirst-quenching.Need igneous rock for an early anvil, and fluxstone for double-ingots.
  2. [B78.15]Resources near spawn

(Forewarning you that I'm new to posting seeds)HERE'S WHAT I ENTERED FOR THE SEED (Don't laugh):Gimme the chocolate, BioxxHere's the seed number:-2052622204I would just like to begin by saying that I really love how the land is generated in terrafirmacraft, forgive my eclectic tastes in building spots. This is a really nice seed, not just in resources, but also has some really great places to build (aesthetic-wise).I left some discoveries unsaid, but there are some other perks that you'll find. You spawn at approximately (64, -8547)(x,z)It starts you in a mountain biome with basalt rock, a small pine forest, and I found pheasants within 10-15 blocks (Assuming animals are the same for every seed.) You're near the ocean, but I remember fresh water being west or south-westerly from the spawn. The area around spawn is mainly ocean dominated. Overall, the larger part of what I explored feels like a giant peninsula in itself.Geology: In a brief description of the rock you'll find nearby; Basalt at spawn, conglomerate south of the basalt, chert south-east/east of conglomerate, and further east I found mudstone. There is a LOT of sand if you look around. Trees and organics: There's a good variety of trees, but the most notable being willow (in the chert rock area), and some redwoods (I believe they are called) at (855, -8554). This is a great build spot if you don't mind being away from the discovered ores. There's also some Jute at (362,-8117) A few interesting things- There are a lot of pumpkins.- I found more than plenty of sheep, some pigs and pheasants, but there was a depressing lack of cows nearby.Ore deposits:(Detected with P. Pick through surface metals, not the exact placement of the vein) 1. Bismuth - (13, -8456)2. Native Gold - (46, -8429)3. Native copper - (53, - 8432) (RIGHT NEXT TO THE GOLD)4. Native copper - (59, -8453) (Most likely linked to #3)5. Bismuth - (-86, -8454) (In a pretty cool spot, as well)6. Garnierite - (316, -8163) (I have no idea what this is)7. Galena - (12,-8566)There were also a decent amount of clay deposits As a final note, I would just like to rave a bit more about how much I love TFC scenery with some more excellent build spots. (210, -8238)(200, -8710)(79, -8422) There will be more seeds to come, but I have a lot of writing to finish, so there will be random times for posts.

  4. Hi, because i'm still not able to find any stone for a forge, i tried to make glas for my home. I made a fire pit in the center of 3x3 section. I put in some logs and now... temperature stuck on drak red**** I'm running the pit for quite a time now and still stuck.. is it possible to make glas in a fire pit? In the wiki, it should be possible. Do i need some special wood or other ingrediences? My second question is, how does ore veins look like? All the ore i've corrently got is from little stone bricks on the ground... it would be nice to know for what should i look for.
