Recently I've seen a few server listings showing up on the first page of the Servers forum that have been closed for an extended period of time, but have recently gotten a reply from a new member who didn't realize the server is offline. To help prevent this from happening in the future, it would be greatly appreciated if you could use the report function on the original post of any servers that have been confirmed as offline, so that the topic may be locked. If you are the admin of a server and plan on taking the server offline, please use the report function on the original post of your topic to let the TFC Staff know that the topic should be locked. If you are the admin of a server that has a locked topic, and would wish to bring the server back online, please use the report function on the original post of the topic to let the TFC Staff know that the topic should be unlocked. As always, please remember to follow rule #3 of the servers forum and update your topic title to contain the version of TFC that the server is currently running. You can do so by editing the OP, and then clicking on "Use Full Editor."

I wish to create a guild, faction, town, or how ever the server sets up groups. The Guild will be very RP oriented but will have properfunctionality as a whole. The focus of my Guild will be to facilitate trade ,as the name Merchant Guild may suggest. Our duties are but not limited to, Delivery. As we know on a server the distance between two settlements can be quite large as a good settler will be quite picky on where they set up shop. As such trading does not happen often as it can take hours to just get to your trading partner and then after the trading is done you have to get back. Minting of Coins, economics is a small passion of mine and one of the things that erk me the most is an economy that is based off of a cheap and abundant resource where little work is put into getting it. Like cobblestone. A good resource is something that can be used by everyone and is needed by everyone and is useful, my preference is grain. I choose grain since it is limited (it decays eventually), It is used by everyone (Sandwiches are love, Sandwiches are life), and finally is can be gotten by everyone. My ratio which my economy is based off of is 1 full stack of grain is worth 5 silver (the lowest level of coin). The rest is based off haggling and barter. Finally the last one I can think off the top of my head is, Build Large Server Scale Construction. Such as connecting roads. This helps make the trade routes safer and allows the server to be a closer community. Along the way it can create spaces for people to open things like a tavern for people to stay in, and new areas where towns might spring up.This Idea only really works on a RP server,with a few key mods, good communication, and support from the staff and admins.
