      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I actually use this awesome program which means I don't have to load mods into the .bin at all :D It's amazingly effective :o

Most of those launchers only work for some people, like for me I have yet to find one that actually works. They either won't launch or cause Minecraft to implode in some ridiculous way

MultiMC is a launcher that works perfectly with every single mod combination I've tried. (And as the caretaker of a modpack, a mod enthusiast in general, and a mod creator, I've tried a lot. ) I've been using it ever since it was released without any error. http://forkk.net/MultiMC/

Not sure what errors you could've been having with the other ones, but generally for a good few programs there's few errors that can't be solved with a little tinkering. MagicLauncher on the other hand.. I had issues with it myself before sadly.

MultiMC was the first one I actually tried (I've always done manual installs with their own folders) and it didn't like to work, it either wouldn't launch Minecraft or if it did manage to Minecraft itself would crash at the main screen.

No clue why but I've just gone back to the tried and true method which ends up being faster anyways.

Oh I know, but it does help to keep things a bit organized. It also helps when i have multiple picks in my inventory, and new ones will take the place of the one that breaks. Only wierd thing is rocks stack 64 in inventory but 16 in the chests.

I wonder how low our personal inventories will go confusing how a chest can hold less than a person

I'm hopin it's at least as small as a single chest, or less. I'm surprised he didn't change personal inventory space first.

Hopefully, that would make minecarts so much more useful :P

Install Forge>Chickencore>NEI(If you use these)>Smart Moving>Optifine

I still just get black screen. It seems to be Smart moving and Opti-fine, that dont work well. I can get it to work with one or the other just not both.

what smart moving Zip should I be using?

Speaking of mine carts and chest carts becoming more useful, do you think there will soon be wooden mine carts and wooden tracks? I mean, you don't need a metal mine cart and wooden tracks would work as long as they aren't moving too quickly.

ugh looks like in the next version bioxxx is lowering the storage space of the chest cart....so much for actually using chests now...:(

Mods I'm using right now Modded Red Power and Build Craft so i can make certain things not the buildcraft quarry but the readpower wiring and bultric stuff( i Don't think I can give the code away)

and i'm going to try the battlegear mod(if it doesn't will work on that)

Added Smart Moving to my server and suggested to all my players that they use it. It's a great mod, adds a lot to exploration.

Speak for yourself not others. We don't ALL think adding thirst and tiredness is a good idea. There have been entire threads where people have argued about this. I would say about half of us think that would be good, the other half think that would make the game less fun and more tedious and annoying. I personally would hate thirst and tiredness and would be trying to find a way to turn them off if they were ever implemented. Hunger is enough imo to add a sense of believability without adding other handicaps to the player. The mod is going in the direction of making it so you cannot carry a lot in your inventory. If I have to bring food, water AND constantly go back to base to sleep it's going to make resource collecting annoying as hell.

its really to give an incentive to not make absolutely fucknuts insane mine systems where you easily get lost, and to give an incentive for making sane rail transport systems.

They ought to put some sort of pentalty for dying too often as some people use bed/death as a replacement for eating.

Wow, it's cool that you've got RP and Buildcraft working. What elements do you use besides the RP wiring, if any?

what do you use to get redstone powder in a client TFC? with redpower: Do the other ores (nikolite) even spawn?
