      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

world generation not generating metal ores

ive tried multiple worlds and even creative to look with a pro pick

nothing not even a single piece

Did you checked with worldedit or someting like that for ores? Maby you are just very unlucky.

no i have not but i got my friend to make a world and give it to me

ore appeared there naturally for any part he loaded before handing it to me and after i loaded new chunks it nolonger had any anywere

same problem over here, i've walked through mountain ranges, dug down to the depths of the Earth, wandered through caves filled with vile beasts and lava lakes, and honeycombed every igneous intrusive rock layer I've found. But i haven't seen a trace of anything other than damn saltpeter and rock. It's rather frustrating. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

im using beta 2 build 45

also, i have had this happen on every world ive generated, so it isn't just a bad seed.

I'm thinking the best solution is a reinstall, but i kinda want to know what the problem is as well.
