      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Sluices don't drop contents when destroyed

4 posts in this topic

Given that sluices can be easily destroyed (they have almost no hardness, and breaking one of several adjacent blocks will also cause them to pop off the ground), the fact that they don't drop their contents is massively frustrating.

A few other "buildings" also do this, although I'm drawing a blank on what it was that I had do it, firepit probably.

The other objects you are thinking of are the bloomery, and the forge, firepits tend to hover in my experience. but all i've observed with forges is that they drop their contents, but if this is true, that is a valid question.

i ve noted this as well

its rather annoying to have several gold nuggets in a sluice only to have them lost when you take back your

sluice.

this should be fixed

The bloomery I can understand if you lost material there (it's also fairly difficult to break). Firepits do float, I discovered the other day (replacing a grass floor with a wood one, which in and of itself might be a bug) although you could break it directly and that could cause loss.

Forge I haven't used.

Woodpile? I have a vague recollection that I thought about hitting it with an axe rather than empting its contents, but I don't remember if I did or not...
