      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

TFC Server Installation Woes

After significant searching and troubleshooting, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here. Again, I seem to be following the instructions provided but it leads me nowhere.

I'm installing Forge and PlayerAPI into my server's .jar file but I'm running into 2 problems:

1) The server won't come online

2) It doesn't generate a "mods" folder

Notes: I'm starting with a clean .jar and I'm deleting META-INF.

I'll upload a video in a second. I had it a second ago but I forgot to censor the IP address.

I believe you don't delete the meta-inf from the server jar. That might be the reason why it doesn't work.

You're not supposed to delete META-INF directory for the server installation. That will cause the installation to fail.

Yeah, it was deleting META-INF that was doing it. whargarbl

That video definitely helped with my friends and I installing the mods client side, however, it's not working for us Server side :(

Are you hosting the server locally or remotely?
