      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

The guy has made a new particle engine and pathfinding for flight.

It is not OP, it is not thaumcraft or equivalentexchange because it has this whole mistery/exploring theme, its awesome. It amazed me for the adventure, not only the spells you get but the adventure behind getting them.

If both, Ars magica and TFC, could be combined it would be the biggest adventure anyone could have in minecraft. Unfortunately the dungeons and towers would have to be ported unto the tfc and... well... no addons.

It would have to be made an addon for them to work together, as it is its impossible for them to work together. Although the modder is making an API of the new particle effect engine he has made, maybe we could see some nice effects here also.

Tools to make tfc more visually pleasing wouldn't be so bad... but Bioxx and I would have to implement it outright

Meh not as spectacular as thaumcraft.

Unfortunately Thaumcraft has been halted and the impressive is the new engine, plus the mobs are really smart, you got mages that cast different spells on you, the AI is really good.

Thaumcraft 2 is for 1.2.5 and has been halted, thaumcraft 3(arcanacraft) is still a WIP.

Right because there is no point in continuing thaumcraft 2 if it's already up to date and TC3 is being worked for 1.3.2....Again, it isn't haulted.

1.2.5 isn't up to date, you know... we're in 1.3.2 and TC3 is probably coming after 1.4.

Sorry but the official statement is "No mod compatibility until TFC can sort out it's own bugs." Please don't make Bioxx's and Dunk's efforts of turning out this great mod harder by allowing the masses to confuse themselves with multiple mod bug reports.

P.S. I know it's hard to wait but my mod is waiting too. I'm just busying myself by filling out features. If you're that bored try getting into modding your own mod and you might understand why they say "Not yet."

The official statement isn't "No mod compatibility" it's "we're not going out of our way to make things compatible", Most mods that could be used won't be usable simply because you can't make the items for them given the lack of vanilla wood, stone, dirt, sand, gravel, iron, etc... but they're not going out of their way to do it, it's simply this mod is a whole package, you can find a few mods compatible, and with vanilla recipe's enabled might be able to use some parts of them, but by and large it just won't work.

You said there is a policy of no mod compatibility.

That's not true.

many mods are more compatible code wise than with most, but just don't have a place in the game.
