      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

That's not what I described; however, everyone sees what they truely want. What I described is actually the place where hobos go when they die. Go google "the big rock candy mountian."

Take a look at islamic heaven. It's not hot there, you're allowed to drink wine, and there's ten thousands of virgins eager to bow to your will, and no matter what you do to them *wink-wink* , they will be virgins again tomorrow.

Wait a second... so the whole point of not drinking alcohol is so that you may go to heaven and drink alcohol to your heart's content? Seems quite pointless.

not really. One life time of getting drunk, pissing yourself, throwing up, looking like an idiot =/= infinite time of free unlimited alcohol with no hangovers.

^assumes you won't forget the most of the first century of your life. Besides, given how damn fast the world changes (and we're talking only about our little blue planet), I highly doubt you'd get bored fast. Imagine what a man from XVI century could tell you if he'd live to our times: empires rising and falling, technology making a giant leap, people around you changing, adapting to the times...

I've often considered this topic. I'd be immortal if I could, whether I could end it when I wanted or not. I literally cannot imagine being bored enough with living to want to die. Nothing to do? Take a few million years to tour our galaxy. No spaceship? Build one? No technology? Well, you get the idea.

One thing I have worried though, is remembering it all. I couldn't tell you much about what I was doing 10 years ago other than in the rough outlines of memory. Trying to remember what I did 7,000 years ago seems crazy without some sort of brain implant.

I'd still try it, implant or no.
