      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

server installation issue

so i download the recent minecraft server jar. then add the recommended forge. then player api for minecraft 1.4.6. put the jar in its own folder, create a new folder named "mods" and put tfc in there. now when i try to run the server it creates a few of the default files for a folder, but no gui opens and it doesn't create a world folder. i open task manager and there is a javaw process running.

so. what did i do wrong?

to specify. i am using

minecraft 1.4.6

forge universal 1.4.6-6.5.0.486

playerapi 1.3 for mc 1.4.6

tfc build 75

edit: vanilla server version is 1.4.7 this is probably the issue. where do i get the older server version?

this is what i do. but i still get the issue. when i run the server the gui doesnt pop up and the world folder isnt created.

using the version of the jar from that download link worked. but i'd still like to know if it was user error or that the server soft was 1.4.7 that screwed me.

Hi,

this is 1.4.7 jar but I changed version number to 1.4.6 and it's working perfectly with TFC (I did the same for the client) :D

It's already have player api and forge installed.

if this is a copy of the minecraft server jar, this link is in violation of copywrite laws and needs to be removed ASAP.
