Idea! firepits!

how about you make a 3D texture for the firepit (like the camping mod) and make it abit more realistic as in you take damage when you step on it?

Doesn't sound like that bad of an idea to me. The other items from there might be nice too, like the tent, which would look better than putting a bed down in the middle of the wilderness. I'd actually really like to have tents available, maybe made from any type of hide, and of course, wool cloth for the bedding.

It seems to me like this post belongs in the suggestions section of the forums. But I do like the idea of taking damage while stepping on fire. Except maybe if you have boots? I've always found footware under appreciated in this game.

more primitive beds should be added, you punch some grass you can receive some grass (not the grass you get from shearing it another type) then you make some grass padding in the crafting table , you make a bed like the wool bed but with logs instead of planks and grass padding instead of yarn...

Interaction damage, similar to cacti (so it's even already implemented, just needs to be repurposed) absolutely should be added to not only firepits, but also to forges and bloomeries. What part of walking barefoot across white-hot coals and through pools of molten metal is believable?
