      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Half generated world/black skies.

4 posts in this topic

Hey Guys,

After installing terrafirmacraft and logging in the health bar loads for a second then blacks out, the world is also half generated in the sense that it is generated vanilla but all the tfc items can be spawned in. The sky appears black until you reach a certain height (y=77). Not sure what the problem is and the only thing that looks even remotely out of place is this. Leaves cannot be walked through either.

I used the latest build of tfc (hotfix 18) with forge build 7.7.2.679 using PlayerAPI 1.5 universal (For minecraft 1.5.1) I also made sure the server jar I downloaded was 1.5.1

That happens if you start the server after installing Forge and API without TFC.

Then when you put TFC in the mods folder and restart the server, the first chunks that were generated will be vanilla, but all new chunks will be TFC...that makes kind of a cool sunken island effect ;)

Just delete the world and start the server again, it will generate a new TFC world.

I actually lied (Sorry about that) but my config files haven't generated. One of my admins had uploaded them when trying to get the server to work. :/

Found the problem, turns out my server host hadn't set the correct jar for my server so everyone was running successfully client side but not server side. Really should have seen that coming. Thanks for the help anyway.
