      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

How to set up a server? (need help)

Server setup is very simple.

 

- Download the server jar from minecraft webpage

- Download minecraftforge-universal-1.6.2-9.10.0.837.jar from files.minecraftforge.net

- Make a directory and copy/move minecraft_server.jar and minecraftforge-universal-1.6.2-9.10.0.837.jar to that directory

- Make a "mods" directory where you're minecraft_server.jar is located and copy/move the TFC jar file into it

- Make a run.bat or run.sh if you are on linux and put this in

java -Xms1G -Xmx2G -jar minecraftforge-universal-1.6.2-9.10.0.837.jar

you can also use the full path instead of only java.

- Start run.bat or run.sh (on linux you will have to do chmod +x run.sh first)

 

And that's it :)

you can also use the forge installer to installer the server - i used it and it works pretty well on my personal computer.

 

 

 

 

i personally have had a real unpleasant time trying to get it to work on a headless server (aka, a host i paid money to), so i had to switch to a host service that use myMcAdmin which has one button forge install.
