      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Welcome too my TFC Server!

this server is vanilla TFC (smartmoving and reis minimap allowed though!)

Rules:

dont steal

dont grief.

dont spam

dont ask for op

dont ask for items

dont ask for tp

(pvp allowed!!! you will lose your stuff on death!!!)

ok the server is back on!

(if the server suddenly stops. then thats becaused it crashed. i keep getting error where it crashes and it says someone moved wrongly)

Don't worry about it, TFC is currently very unstable and any server will crash regularly as a result. Just make sure you have a good startup script that can detect the crashes and restart the server automatically.

 

My server has crashed exactly 202 times since we started it a little over 75 days ago. There is not much you can do to prevent the crashes. So the best thing to do is to learn to live with them and hope he TFC devs will fix the crashes in an upcoming release :)

My server has crashed exactly 202 times since we started it a little over 75 days ago. There is not much you can do to prevent the crashes. So the best thing to do is to learn to live with them and hope he TFC devs will fix the crashes in an upcoming release :)

 

i dont have a StartupScript. i use BukkitGui too start my server

BukkitGui is a nice tool to manage servers. But as far as I know it can't detect server crashes and automatically restart a crashed server. That means as your server becomes more popular you'll have to keep close track of it due to TFC's current instability.

 

My servers all run on Linux so my custom build startup scripts won't be of any use to you since you are using Windows. I don't know of any Windows based Minecraft server managers. But if you ever decide to switch to Linux then you may find this useful: http://msmhq.com/

If somebody moved wrongly it means the server may OR MAY NOT crash. If is says it can't keep up, don't worry.
