      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Version: 0.78.8Suggested Name: Crash while rendering fruit tree saplings?Suggested Category: SevereDescription:  Today I decided to get back into TFC.  I reinstall it and make a new world, after roughly 25 minutes of playing I find a fruit tree the type of which I don't remember and I get a crash right after it.  I'm unable to join the world as a result.Have you deleted your config files and are still able to reproduce this bug?: YesPastebin.com link of the Crash Report:

in 78.9 changelog : Fixed plum tree crash

I actually just downloaded 78.9, cleared configs and still got the same crash upon reloading the world.

I can not see problems by looking at crash repports, Kitty or Bioxx would be in better position to tell.

The second to last line of the "crash report" that you linked.

That's the file that we need, not the console log that you posted.

The old worlds that crashed from this bug in 78.8 will still crash in 78.9 because all that was fixed was the bug that caused the bugged sapling to appear in the first place.

 

78.10 contains a fix that will restore those worlds that already had the sapling bug.
