      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

[solved]vanilla part of map

7 posts in this topic

Did you possibly accidentally run the server on vanilla at any point? That would cause vanilla chunks to generate, and just because you reload the world in TFC doesn't mean that those chunks will be replaced with TFC ones.

Just because you just arrived there doesn't mean it's freshly generated. It's possible that the very first time you ran the server, you ran it as vanilla instead of TFC, and that area that you just found is where the original vanilla spawn chunks are that were the first things loaded. Then later when you ran the server as TFC, the spawn point moved away from those chunks, so you only just now found them while exploring.

Anyways, the solution to this is to delete those chunk's regions files on the server and then when the game is loaded with TFC they will regenerate using TFC worldgen.

And i'm 100% sure that server never run as vanilla

Some of the TFC trees overwrite the vanilla ones. So if you load just a regular vanilla world in TFC, all the trees will look like TFC ones.
