Item ID mismatch on server

Hi, I have spent the past three or so hours trying to set up a TFC server using multicraft however I keep getting told that "ID # is mismatched between world and game" when trying to join it. I have tried deleting configs, re installing the server, re installing the mod client side however I still can not get it to work. Here is a screenshot of the issue - 

 

I can't find the log file, I'm not too sure where it would be. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried taking the config files from the server and installing those on your client?

Yeah I've tried that. I've also tried copying and pasting the text from the config files directly.

Are you sure that the server is running TFC and not vanilla? The IDs that you have listed in the screenshot all look to be within the vanilla range. Make sure that you are running the forge/custom jar to start the server, and not the standard vanilla one. Also double check that both the client and the server are using the same version of TFC and of Forge.

Both TFC and Forge are using the same version on the client and on the server. The server log states:

And the custom JAR file is Forge (re downloaded it a couple of minutes ago)

When you say you "re downloaded" it.. you mean that you downloaded the installer and then ran it for server installation and then copied everything from that install over to the server and renamed the forge jar that it created to custom.jar right?

That's correct. Just to double check, I suggest following the 1.6.1 or Later instructions on this page, making sure you're using the version of forge that TFC is built on, and not the outdated version that they are using in the tutorial pictures.

Just followed those instructions again, they are the ones I initially used and it is still not working. The Forge version I'm using is 1.6.4-9.11.1965

Every single thing listed in that spoiler is a TFC item that overwrites a vanilla one. Another key thing in that log is the fact that just about every other line has the [FINE] tag on it.. which means that everything is indeed FINE and the game is doing what it is supposed to do.

 

I would strongly suggest completely uninstalling Minecraft (after backing up any saves or anything you want to keep) and reinstalling everything from scratch. The only reason you are getting this error is because you screwed up somewhere along the process.

 

If you're able to run TFC single player without any issues, then the problem likely has something to do with Multicraft, so you should probably contact your server host's support and ask them for help in installing a forge modded server using their software and setup.

Make sure you have the terrafirmacraft jar file in the mods folder. I didnt have it and i was getting the same issue
