      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Can't make armor plans?

I don't know what's worng, I'm using the correct formation of markings and I have the paper n' all, but I can't get teh plans for armor? Any help?

the plans look right. so on to the next possible cause.

What version of TFC are you playing with?

Armor was only recently added, so maybe you only need to update to the latest version

I just remembered someone mentioning that you need to put the paper in before any ink marks? Or maybe it was something else, I can't remember.

The paper was placed in before, and I'm not sure the verion I wan't really paying attention, but if you can find out from the filename here it is: TFC_Core B1j HOTFIX 2

Go update your TFC version, it is definitely ever so slightly outdated.

Ah yeah. there's your problem.

Armor wasn't introduced yet in that version. you'd hardly recognize the game once you update to the most current one. also. you need to make a new world when you update from that old version. a lot of changes to worldgen among other things have happened.

Damn, just got a bronze anvil too. Oh well, nothing's wrong with a little change.

Oh, by the way, do I just neeed to get a new game zip folder to replace the old, or do I need to re get the core and everything?

You need to get everything anew. The latest build uses a newer version of forge too. you need at least forge version 3.1.2.96

Don't forget to download the latest version of the textures as well. otherwise you will get a lot of invisible/strange looking blocks
