      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Grill deletion bug & re-fueling confusion

If you place the grill anywhere but inside the forge it will delete the item. I've lost 2 grills, one learning this and another by accident. 

Also, there is no way to re-ful the forge while a grill is on top. You need to break the grill to access the forge. This seems kinda crude to me. You used to be able to chisel the side blocks of forges down so reaching the forge block was easy (so long as you didn't update the forge block you wouldn't lose it) but now you can't do that any more, chiseling down a brick next to the forge block destroys the forge instantly.

The placement deletion I'm sure is a bug, please fix.

The inability to chisel by forge blocks removed a handy bug that would be very useful now that grills make the forge gui inaccessible..

but anyway, I came accross this bug last night, so I (hopefully) fixed it - should be in the next revision... 

 

The problem is that if the player tries to put a Grill in a unacceptable place, it is still deleted from the inventory, as it was successfully placed. 

The Grill may also be put over a firepit - use shift-right-click to prevent the firepit GUI to open - but it needs some kind of support (not freely floating in the air...)

 

Edit: a Grill can also be placed on a Blast Furnace, but probably same problem as on a forge, and not sure if I would like to eat food from a furnace in RL [:-)

Ah... Wasn't aware that it worked over fire pits. Once I figured out that it worked in a forge block I didn't want to lose any more trying to see if it worked anywhere else. I'm not loaded with iron atm. Thanks for that info, I'd rather cook over a campfire too.
