      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Terra Firma Craft Compatibility with Weather and Tornadoes Mod

I was putting together my own personal mod pack for TFC when I came upon the weather and tornadoes mod and thought that it would look wonderful with TFC. I loaded up my game and sure enough it looked rather nice. However my main concern is that it's going to mess up how TFC handles weather, mostly just the snow during the winter. So to what extent will it change snowfall? Will it still snow in the winter and will it still snow the same amount?

Currently, it will not snow in winter. The mod author has agreed to fix this issue already.

You can have it snow in winter by using the lockServerWeatherMode option. The vanilla server weather then takes place in the background. It does mean that barrels fill with water 'magically' when the vanilla rain is falling but the Weather2 rain isn't. Works fine in our pack once you're aware of the issues. Also needs some customization of the Tornado_Grablist to have it do it's terrible things.
