      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Armor Smithing (Specifically Chest and Greaves)

11 posts in this topic

TFC Version #: 79.15

Forge Version #: 1272

SSP/SMP (Single/MultiPlayer): Single

Suggested Name: Armor Smithing (Specifically Chest and Greaves)

Description: After smithing 3 types of metal helmets and boots, I continue to smith the corresponding chest variants for each armor piece. When I obtain the Unfinished Chest 1 and a weldable double sheet, I cannot weld them together. Relogging, breaking the anvil, and using another anvil do nothing to the problem.

Have you deleted your config files or are using default configs and are still able to reproduce this bug?: Yes

Do you have any mods other than Forge and TFC installed?: Yes

If yes, which mods? FastCraft, Optifine

If you have Optifine or Cauldron installed, can you still reproduce the bug after uninstalling them? Yes

EDIT: Derp... I forgot to show the temp gauge. Either way they are both at "Yellow-White/White"

Yeah, that should be a single sheet you're welding with, not a double sheet for greaves.

Um... Alright. New issue. Now when I work the Stage 2 Armor, I can't finish the product.

Yes, but switching that set of greaves out with another and then putting it back in the anvil turned it into the finished product. Weird...
