      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.

was kinda sad you didnt add in some of the machines from immersive engineering. also shouldve added in coal coke as a forge fuel and allowed us to make coal coke :/

 

it was possible not sure in the last few updates of tfc but i had coal coke working for forges. one of those tweaking mods. havnt played with minecraft modding in a while... been modding for other games. sorry if i seem a little out of the know.

TFC fuels are hard coded. A tweaker mod written for TFC may be able to add them, but the current one can not. Previously there was a TFC coal Coke item, this may be coded to work in forge etc.

ive seem to have ran into a problem with the quests. the pottery quest early on wont acknowledge my ceramic jugs. are they suppose to be filled? yes i do have 4 of them made. ive even tried putting them into my hotbar and my inventory even placing and picking back up also giving them to my partner. neither of us can complete that part.

The ceramic jugs have unique NBT once used or blown into. The quest needs to be set to ignore NBT data.

I don't know if this is because of kauldron, but Clients are taking vanilla levels of fall damage. any one have any ideas why that is?

Yes that is cauldron. It had been fixed in cauldron long ago and kCauldron a bit ago so be sure you are using correct version.

You naturally heal over time, hot springs heal and healing potions work but I don't think there is a crafting recipe for it

I have tried to change the quest to use Fuzzy Detection, but it is too unspecific and makes it work with baked or unbaked versions. I would prefer not to go that route.

Yes the healing potion is craftable, but finding melon slices could be difficult to find. For some of the other potions try farming Witches or even Wither Witches ;)

I think I should add a way to make vanilla sugar tho...

This bug was back on the KCauldron version 1.7.10-1614.200 as much as I know it is not fixed.

A issue was submitted and we are waiting for the fix.

I found a fix, well... an alternative. Thermos build 51 and up seem to have fixed the problem. Am now running with all damages at tfc values.

Thermos being the fork of KCauldron where they actually fix obscure bugs like this.

im probably annoying some of you but what is the easiest way to get slimeballs. other then bees? i get tired of fighting the slime beetles cause i only have two lifes left. steel only helps soo much.

question their is a mod that adds in kiln oven things so you can cook 8 clay things at once. i was wondering if you had plans to add it or if it wasnt updated to the newer terrafirmacraft

There are always some visual bugs now and then, can you be more specific?

 

 

im probably annoying some of you but what is the easiest way to get slimeballs. other then bees? i get tired of fighting the slime beetles cause i only have two lifes left. steel only helps soo much.

 

There should be some other slimes spawning in the caves. But if your having a hard time with slime beetles I would suggest backing off a bit and complete some more quests or just farm mobs for life hearts and reward bags.

yeah it doesn't help that the mosquitoes take up 90% of the spawns in the swamp and are just plain annoying. since id rather have the slime beetles and the mosquitoes do not abide by light rules. so no matter how many torchs i have they still spawn inside my base -.-

 

and for the visual bug ive tried it with every item in my inventory (by removing certain ones and even having an empty inventory) it seems to be random. i cant recreate or fix it.

You need to be specific in regards to the bug. Screenshots of the broken textures. Are you using optifine or fastcraft? Does it occur without either or both of them installed.

well its seems to be because of enchanted tfc armor. since it also whites out the ingot molds. i think its just something that hasnt been fixed in a while and when i started a new world i didnt have that bug but as soon as i got an enchanted peice of armor it started up again. not sure if tools are included or not.

That is similar to the bug I reported for food and enchanted items. It was fixed in build 0.79.25 I believe. Is the issue on partially poured ingots or fully poured ingots? Does it effect tool molds?

ingot molds and textures or most block items. the block items would be rearranged textures.

1) Don't live in or near a swamp, or mountains. If you do then expect to be constantly harassed by difficult mobs.

2) Mosquitos should be spawning in light levels 9 and below so they can still spawn under trees in the swamps.

3) Slime Beetles are ment to be a rare mob and difficult to farm, there are much more difficult and rare mobs that drop items required for progression. Try to learn their habits and figure out better ways to farm them.

 

Thank you for the comments it really helps me with balancing the pack for all levels of play. I tend to get stuck focusing on the higher tiers and forget that early game features need tweeking too :D
