      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

[Solved] Make server auto stop when all players offline?

First off, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, this forum is very badly designed. Now, on to the point. Is it possible to make a TFC 79.18 server automatically stop the world as soon as there are no players on it?

Servers already slow down to pass time 100x slower by default when no players are online. You can change that to make it even slower in the config files. There is no option to make the server stop entirely, but you can set it to a max value of 2147483647 meaning that it will take 345 real-life years for a single in-game hour to pass.

I would say it's fairly obvious from the description text that this topic should have been posted in Support, since it falls under the category of "Any bugs, crashes, problems, or questions about the mod should be posted here."

Interesting. To me, it shouldn't go there, because there is nothing wrong with the mod itself, and I didn't know the problem was something that could be solved from within the mod. I guess maybe the biggest issue simply stems from my lack of familiarity with this forum, it's not terrible clear to newbies.

For future reference, if it's a question that relates to anything Minecraft/TerraFirmaCraft and installing/playing/crashing/running/etc, it belongs in support. Simple as that.
