      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Haven't tried the seed but would be surprised to find the same distribution of surface ores - isn't the generation of surface ores random?

Maybe. Idk honestly. This worls has lots of animals and ores for me though.

In an older build of TFC (back way before food decay) i re-created a world id been playing on because i didnt like what id done with it and the ores were totally different.

Well damn. I like this world either way lol. Sucks that you won't have the same ores but it's still an ok place

The epicentre of the ore veins will be the same, the generation of them will be unique. The nuggets on the ground are based on there being at least one ore block in that chunk within so many blocks of surface. The placement and number of those nuggets is RNG I believe.

Thank you so much for the seed Caveman! i dont know how to thank you! ive always created wolrds and lookeed for seeds whit copper and then i found yours! i spawn whit 11 near by, then i found 16 gold to the east! thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!
