What is this tree?

So I've had this mod for about an hour now, and I started up a new save file; right in front of me, I found this tree, and I can't find any reference to it on the wiki or anything. What is it (See picture below)?

Yeah, but I just spawned; and there's no snow anywhere, which tells me it's not winter. It's kind of strange. When I break the leaves, I get nothing from them.

It doesn't snow in warmer biomes. That doesn't mean there's not winter. What season is it when you hit 'n'?

There is a tree that looks like that in early spring because it does not flower until spring to late spring but I have no idea what it is. I keep missing falls so all the fruit trees are the same to me.

If you just spawned then it should be Spring I believe. Like DarkLadyPhoenix says, hit 'n' to check your calendar. It could also be the wrong temperature in the area for it to bloom.

In early spring, before trees bloom, they are still in their winter mode. So its a fruit tree!

Such as when they produce fruit, how you go about harvesting the fruit. and other details I dont even know to ask.

Iv cut two trees down so far and dont wanna ruin any more trying to figure them out.

well, the harvest time varies depending upon type of fruit it bears, you get fruit by finding blocks that have fruit on them during harvest season, and you get saplings by using an ax to hit the side branches. to see months of harvest, go to http://www.terrafirmacraft.com/info/vegetation/

ya fruit tree..coming out of winter sleep mode....bout to veggie....then flower....then fruit...check back on it often....use axe to cut off branches for saplins....barehand punch fuit for , well the fruit
