      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

ProPick spamming?

Hi, in my world i found a gold deposit, and my prospecting level is novice. I decide to try and spam the propick on a block that reads very large sample of native gold, and after about 15 minutes and a few bronze propicks i was at master propick skill. I just left a rock on the right click button on my mouse, did something else and came back to change picks. I'm now at master skill, so should this be a thing? Or is this a bug?

It is the mechanic, they could track every block you clicked and slowly cause worlds to lag more and more as it logged each block every player clicks and query if that block has been clicked. The fact you chose to exploit it is your choice.

Wouldn't be possible just to not allow a skill increase when clicking on the same block as last click? I am not talking about tracking all the blocks where the player clicks, just the last, this way the player would need to at least keep moving the mouse and clicking at 2 different blocks.

I understand that there will always be ways for people to exploit the game.

Heh. I had exactly the same thought and was looking at how exactly to do that. It seems simple, but I haven't had a chance to test it.
