      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

MineTweaker and Temprature/Can Work status

6 posts in this topic

Been working on some mod intertration with MineTweaker, and I've come on one recipe that I'd like to use a pair of Wrought Iron Sheets heated to 'Can Work' status, but the only tags (that MineTweaker can access) associated are temprature.

I'm not seeing any way to use MineTweaker to use a range for any tag (aside from damage), so I don't think my idea will work.

I just wanted to check if anyone else had a sugestion that could work for this, in case there is a way I overlooked.

Thanks,

MT is terrible for handling NBT data. You can kinda do it with one heated item by declaring a variable array as iData and then doing a for loop. It is pretty ugly and hacky. I don't know a way to do it with two heated items as you'd have to do each possible combination.

Thanks.  I didn't figure there would be any good way to manage that, without specific MT support coded into TFC.

I'll just stick to 'cold' sheets then, since it's only a minor thematic issue, and I'm removing most of the metal from recieps unless it really, really makes sense.  So one or two like that won't mattery in the long run.

Just to clarify, this question was regarding a crafting recipe, correct? I'd have to double check, but I'm fairly certain that an anvil recipe will already enforce the temperature requirements.

Yes, it's a crafting recipe with 3 items.   Might considered removing one item to make it work on the anvil.... Hrm.
