      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Are rutabagas no longer an existing crop?

I'm trying to collect all crop types and I haven't found the last one I'm looking for (rutabagas). I thought it was just bad luck, but I noticed it's not represented in WAILA. So was it taken out at some point?

You have to use the No Onions option in the config file.  It replaces the onions with rutabagas.

Seems strange there's an achievement for finding rutabagas, but you'll never find them unless you change the default config.

Some people (including me) used achievements to help to get to know the basic goals of a mod when I first played.

Not sure why you think that's 'boy scout'.

Sorry - I wasn't trying to be derogatory...

There are so few achievements in TFC - the rutabega achievement isn't in the 'tree' so it can only be described as an 'additional extra', rather than a part of the main mod.

I guess I probably pay little attention to achievements because they were added quite a long time after I started playing the mod.

 

Your point about using the achievements to 'learn' the mod is valid :)
