      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

New Ore Veins

Have you read, understood, and followed all of the rules listed in large text at the top of the suggestions forum?(Yes/No):

Instead of having ore veins be entirely poor, normal, or rich, I propose ore veins being a mix of ore qualities. Sure veins can be concentrated of 1 type but there would always be a bit of all qualities.  How it would work would be like the outer edges of veins would be primarily poor but you can find normal rarely but never rich, closer to the center you can find all qualities mostly normal but can find a bit of poor and rich, lastly the center of veins hold mainly rich but can find normal quality too but never poor.

On the one hand, it would make it so that one cannot just discard a vein based on the very first ore block found, since there could be other types.   Probably a good thing.  But you don't want to remove the thrill of finding a rich vein, so I'd say that rich should still be relatively rare mixed in, except in certain 'richer' veins, where it would dominate.  I think the thrill of finding an abnormally good vein is an important part of the game.  Also it'll tend to fill the inventory faster, having 3 types of ore per vein rather than 1.  Overall I'm pretty happy with the way things are really.
