      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Rat Model and Texture *FINAL*

Here we have a refined model and texture for the rat in TFC2. It uses a transparent box in front for the whiskers. These whiskers also have the gizmo centered in the nose. This allows for a potential to have the whiskers twitch back and forth. The leg boxes have also been phased out in this version. I believe that the best option for the feet is to just have them wiggle back and forth horizontally. The main body is also given a larger angle and is slightly longer in this version. This model will need to be scaled down to 1/2 or 1/4 of its actual size in game to fit into the proper scale of the world.

A few things to note: Darmo is still unable to post links in the forum. I will be doing any x-posts for him.
                                      The forum does not currently accept MCMC files. Dropbox works fine for now but an option to include MCMC files on the forum would be nice.

I'd guess that once we have the model approved Bioxx, Alpha can probably do some alternate skins; grey, brown, white maybe.  If he's up for it of course.

Thanks guys, I'll take a look at this when I'm done working on the rewritten animal spawn code. So it may be a few days before it gets in game. I'll try to figure out how to allow mcmc files as well.

Edit: I totally dropped the ball when creating the Contributor group. It didn't have permissions to upload content among other things. Hopefully works now.

I will work on some alternate skin layers after I finish up the few other models that I have in progress right now.

When I went back to the texture to look into making alternate skins I noticed that the version I sent in was a little sloppy. There were a few boxes still on the texture-map that were textured for parts that were phased out earlier. I also cleaned up the edges of the boxes for a cleaner look. Switching to this version will not have any visual change on the model in game. This version simply changes the texture-map to look cleaner.
