      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I've just struggled for the past hour to set my avatar. I've tried a 200x200 png and jpeg and a 400x400 jpg and png. I've tried uploading, I've tried urls, every time it says 'failed to update photo' Anyone else having issues? Is there a specific size requirement that I am missing here?

If you havent done so already save the pic to your desktop and upload it.

I'm pretty sure size doesn't matter since it will crop the rest out anyway.

I had the same issue when I first tried uploading mine. I gave up as I wasn't in the mood to deal with it at the time. When I came back later and tried again it just worked. Didn't even do anything different. Best I could suggest is come back another time and try again.

Nope. Tried it 4 times since then at various times of the day. Is there a size requirement I'm missing? Cannot be larger than (whatever) in MB size -or- pixel dimensions? Does it have to be 200x200 or can it be smaller?

I had the same problem, one picture didn't want to upload but another one did. I resized the first to 350x350 and then it let me upload. But then again, it could have been other thing, like erratic behaviour from the forum. Could be the size too
