      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

18) How about placing a "sea sound effect" blocks in the sea somewhere? Because the silence is not the sound of seas. Again, easy, buttload of atm.

23) Sounds of wind (and, maybe, birds) in the forest will be good.

I don't know if Bioxx has any plans to add ambient sounds, but I do know that since he made hexes start reporting their vanilla biome equivalent, the Dynamic Surroundings mod works perfectly for doing exactly what you want here.

Updated to 0.1.9

I've added a link to a changelog to the initial post.

We are now caching islandmaps locally. Hopefully I wrote this well and there are no issues.

Vanilla trees, I think it's a bug!

*Sigh* It's a drawback to reporting correct vanilla biome information that we keep having vanilla stuff spawning. Thanks, I'll trace this one down as well.

I'm just another guy that wants to thank you for making this mod and working so much on the development. I wish I had your diligence :).

*not a programmer* is it possible to leave the vanilla spawns and replace the drops and "felling" and physics behavior when they try to harvest it?

Version 0.1.10 released.

I have no idea why it started working for you(that sounds like some other weird/beneficial bug) but I was able to reproduce this consistently on my end. Could've sworn I had it working and tested properly. This issue was severe enough in my eyes(even tho it was smp only) to make me put a new version out just for it.

It's not the issue of chopping down the tree, that part is handled by the axe, its the gameplay repercussions from allowing vanilla logs which don't obey the same rules as tfc logs.

A few more oddities that I have encountered:

- Thatch is not 100% solid and inflicts suffocation damage which can be a problem when the roof of a house is low

- Thatch defies gravity, with the new system this should not have to be the case anymore

- Clay defies gravity and is a perfect building material for houses as it is 100% solid, easy to break, and can float like thatch

- When crops are harvested the yield disappears (perhaps due to food expiration?)

Thanks for your hard work, Bioxx!

Hi, in SMP, pam's harvestcraft doesn't spawn any gardens, no fruit tress, there is nothing to eat (except calamary)

Are rocks suppose to spawn on trees?

Are grass blocks going to be made to fall when the block below them is removed?

World Seed: [757406369941924556] | IslandMap: [0,-2] | PlayerPos: [BlockPos{x=1233, y=77, z=-6771}]

World Seed: [757406369941924556] | IslandMap: [0,-2] | PlayerPos: [BlockPos{x=2822, y=70, z=-7046}]

Spot in swamp where the bits of land are 1 layer below water, making missing / voids where water should be.

Also as previously posted where river goes into swamp there are voids also.

Took a portal to the bridge, then took the portal and its stays on loading terrain.

After quitting out and reloading, the portal I ended up at had a rock in it, may or may not be pertinent info.

Was turned around, the exit portal did have a stone block where the portal block should be with grass on it.

The left lower front block.

*Sigh* It's a drawback to reporting correct vanilla biome information that we keep having vanilla stuff spawning. Thanks, I'll trace this one down as well.

I saw a lot of vanilla oak trees during the 0.1.2 first look I did.  I assumed it was because of Pams.  I hadn't seen a pams fruit tree and I figured it was trying to spawn one in and didn't have any fruit.

15) What about adding a stationary water with direction, drag and the sounds of a flow? It will add a buttload of atmosphere.

There is a mod call streams  that does this however it does not seem to work with with TFC2, at least right now, which is sad because I played with it in TFC1 and it gave a really nice feel to the world as well as adding the ability to travel quickly in direction of the streams/rivers.

A few possible glitches:

the pottery and straw block for the pit kiln reappears when broken even in creative mode.

one time I broke the dirt cover for the pit kiln but the smoke and flame particles did not stop and when I replaced the dirt the smoke and flame continued and the pit kiln continued as normal, I got this to happen a couple of times, it seemed it happened sometimes when I took a long time to place the dirt on top of the log.

Tried 0.1.10.

Thank you for fixing placeable blocks messing with laying stones!

Teleported to 0,0,0, got lags (maybe, from reloading some island caches). Then I teleported to the center of one of nearby islands, reached beach. There I saw palms, tried to pick block in creative (it had no texture), then tried to place it and everything crashed. I tried to reload world, but got a message about MC cannot find things from my inventory and it never loaded.

The shadows under the tall birches are bugged to be too dense. They disappear after some time.

Rivers starting from lakes still drop down 1 meter at the very start.

Hi, in SMP, pam's harvestcraft doesn't spawn any gardens, no fruit tress, there is nothing to eat (except calamary)

I can attest that is not so. They are very very rare to be sure but I did find two gardens and a few hives.

I found it odd that when a stack is right clicked it splits into half instead of adding one to another stack. I could break and pick up rocks but breaking didn't consistently produce a rock. I noticed when you plant crops too far away from water they don't grow instead of eventually turning back into grass. The hoe didn't get damaged after use. You can fall through thatch and jump up out of thatch but you can't move through it sideways. If intended, makes a great one high door at night. Killed a spider and when I picked up the red thing which I assumed as it's eye the item didn't appear in my inventory. The silk did though.

Didn't break the game but console complained about failing to spawn tiger at world generation. Are we suppose to spawn with a tiger like in Life of PI?

Some things that probably aren't on your radar yet but recipes that aren't suppose to consume one or more of the crafting ingredients didn't work. Tested using pam's pot and a bone to make stock.

creating a campfire worked and growing crops worked. Made a little hovel on the beach.

For sure two gardens is not enough for 2 players. There is a problem of gardens generation smp. I didn't say pam harvest doesn't work in smp (cause calamy drop raw food, and i saw hive too) but in 3 islands generated we saw 0 gardens :0

I saw in pam config file i can up the rate, i didn't touch it for the moment cause i think is not the solution, why gardens spawing is correct in ssp and is not in smp? For the same reason why knapping didn't working in smp but in ssp? IMO

Naa not possible to be related in that fashion. Pam's generators are not supposed to be able to generate any gardens at all. I wrote a custom generator for it which I will have to go back and work on. That said, Pams generator is still generating things when I told it not to, so I'll have to take a look.

If it helps at all the gardens I found were always on the side and top of cliffs.
