      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. What do you think about TFC2?

I'd also wish that, and I'm not sure I would go for the mountains given the choice
  2. Post your TFcraft Pictures

Hitler is currently in the lead of industrialized murder with genocide as the goal though, last time I checked. What's the "fash"? I tried googling it but only came up with abbreviations of "fascist". The nazis did very much use the swastika, lest you call this something else.
  3. Towny for TFC?

I always preferred Towny over Factions. It felt less like strictly PVP. I also liked the way nations are made up of actual towns. It always seemed more realistic. Thanks for posting this, renadi
  4. Use for bones

On standard texture size (16x16), how would you fit the texture of a bone to the size of planks? Unless you make bones a bit broader than planks, which would not even be believable.
  5. Post your TFcraft Pictures

Looks like a world of gravel to me!
  6. Make (your) custom Items in TFC!

    That'd be a real shame.
  7. Make (your) custom Items in TFC!

Is it possible to create items that can be used in, say, a firepit or a bloomery? Or the scribing table? And the anvil? etc etc And replenish TFC -thirst and -hunger?
  8. Brewing, Distilling, and Viticulture: Alcohol!

Yeah, most likely at least after he adds berries (if he still plans to), and probably herbs as well. I'd love to have it in the end of development at least.
  9. blueprints are way too op

I think this is rather good. I'm more to the drawing time-solution rather than server-config solution, but there could perhaps be both, depending on how the server wants it. For instance, it's important to remember that the solution must be as utilitarian as possible, applicable to as many different styles of playing as possible. Get both, but make one (or both) optional/configurable. Also perhaps kick up the drawing time to more than 5 seconds. Perhaps 9 or 10, like mining an obsidian block with a pickaxe. But that's debatable and really nothing important. So +1 to your post, liking it.
  10. blueprints are way too op

That I can agree with. However, I think the thinking behind it is that it should be able to be less work for the people who are more into creative builds, rather then the "believablity" aspect of the game.
  11. these trees should be addedd to the TFC terrain gen now !

To add to this, a little off topic, I am reminded of that famous french painter who painted very shabbily his paintings when you looked upon them from a very short distance. He was looked down upon by other painters for not having the intricacy common of his era. His paintings did however look marvelous when looked upon from a far enough distance. I feel the same applies to these trees.
  12. blueprints are way too op

Or only copy them like you copy maps.
  13. Bug With Sluices

I had this bug in b69, but with cassiterite. I had one time when I think I got about 3-4 that disappeared when I tried to stack them into a stack of the maximum number (which I think is either 8 or 16 with small ores). However, after this fact (and once before it) the ones that disappear seemed to be phantom ores that didn't disappear from the sluice inventory when I shift-clicked them. Sometimes I notice right away that it didn't go from there into my own inventory, but sometimes I have not and when I return there is seemingly a new small ore there, but when I shift-click it it disappears into the current stack (which for me most of the time so far doesn't amount to more than one). If they disappear, they're probably phantom ores. Keep tabs on how many you can confirm you are getting and see if they are indeed phantom ores or not.
  14. Post your TFcraft Pictures

Peaks makes for great eerie fortresses.
  15. Npc´s

If it's only because of the new blocks and blockID-conflicts, then you can probably make it work by changing the blockID's. I think Millenaire has an option for that in the config or something.
