ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -

Hmm. Interesting idea about mammoth hunting. You could make an entire list of things for this. Pits, spikes, (Read Fire Dancer by Victor Kelleher, it's pretty well-researched.) and any number of things.

I'd just like to be able to make a glass vat full of pickling liquid and dunk (apologies to Dunkleosteus) them in, displaying their mangled bodies to my victims.

How abut a Terraria (actually, the names are kinda similar) style "A meteorite has landed" possibly with a "near you". Then you can search, possibly with a prospector's pick, and find a ball of iron (blooms?) sitting in a crater in the ground, near a few flattened trees .

This may come under the heading of 'firearms', but I'm not so sure. This could be a more powerful version of the bow, more effective in hunting. A crafting diagram: S=string, P=plank PPP SPS P This could enable the player to cock the bow, then keep it cocked for later use. It could be more powerful than the bow, possibly using a different recipe for 'crossbow bolts'. POSTEDIT: This post was merged from a seperate thread into this one. -Hubertus
