      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. [Solved] Blueprint crash on use.

Vanilla writable books can have a lot of NBT on them too, but you can copy them. Thou IDK what version that was.
  2. [Solved] Blueprint crash on use.

Is there any way to copy a blueprint? Besides using it in world the using a stack of blueprints on it?
  3. [Solved] Blueprint crash on use.

Weird... Then why would it take more damage for me? Unless... I guess it takes one damage per slab? I'm guessing that's the difference. I cut it down a few slabs before I started to remove tiny squares.
  4. [Solved] Blueprint crash on use.

That's what I was thinking. Also, why does using a blueprint cause the chisel to take so much damage? Is this a bug? B/c I can't make but a few blocks with it when using the blueprint, but when I do it manually it doesn't take that much damage.
  5. [Solved] Blueprint crash on use.

Have you read, understood, and followed all of the rules listed in large text at the top of the support forum? (Yes/No):Yes Answering "no" to the above question will result in your post being deleted. TFC Version #:0.79.25.845 Forge Version #:10.13.4.1448 Please note that an actual number must be provided for both of the above fields. Simply saying "current" or "latest" will result in your post being locked, due to the fact that in a large number of cases, users who say they are using the "latest" or "current" version are actually using an outdated version. SSP/SMP (SinglePlayer/MultiPlayer):SSP Have you deleted your config files or are using default configs and are still able to reproduce this bug? (Yes/No):Yes, Using Defaults. If you answered no to the above question, delete all 3 TFC config files (TFCCrafting, TFCConfig, TFCOre), do NOT edit or add to any of the files, and try to reproduce the bug. This question is here because many bugs are caused by mistakes in config files. If you are unable to delete your edited config files, please provide a list of the config options you have changed. Do you have any mods other than Forge and TFC installed? (Yes/No):Yes If yes, which mods?Aroma1997Core, AromaBackeup, CodeChickenCore, Inventory Tweaks, Not EnoughITems, Waila, Waila Harvestbility If you have Optifine or Cauldron installed, can you still reproduce the bug after uninstalling them? (Yes/No):Not using. If you answered no to the above question, uninstall Optifine/Cauldron and try to reproduce the bug. Both Optifine and Cauldron edit the base classes of forge that TFC uses. Because of this, we cannot officially support any issues that happen only when these mods are installed. In the majority of cases, TFC is not causing the bug; Optifine/Cauldron is and TFC can do nothing to fix it. All bug reports should have an answer of "Yes" to this question. If you refuse to uninstall Optifine/Cauldron, and cannot reproduce the bug when the mods are not installed, do not bother making a bug report, as it will be locked and ignored. Pastebin.com link of the Crash Report:Crashed to client: Log:http://pastebin.com/TmJN2kA9 Description:When I used a blueprint(with saved data on it) on a block a GUI opened. I clicked done. Some thing sounded like it broke, the I crashed to my client. On reloading the world and using the chisel, it vanishes, Maybe broken? Also seams to happen when the stack is used up.
  6. [Solved] Ore Across Layers

So I guess this applies for changes in a rock on the same layer?
  7. [Solved] Ore Across Layers

I found Native silver on the top layer of rock (Granite), and I found at a point going down there is still silver just above the middle layer(Diorite). My question is, will the silver still be spawning in the middle layer?
  8. TFC Myths

So it is a relatively small area then?
  9. TFC Myths

But I mean, the search range for cave ins and how far they can propagate. What is the range?
  10. TFC Myths

What is the range? I know of a reavine (IDK how so spell) near my mine. And I noticed that the blocks had collapse in it.
  11. TFC Myths

I heard that supports beams make it so that a cave in will not happen if you are mining in the 9 x 9 x 3 area around a horizontal beam. But When I was mining right next to a beam, I had a small cave in. Is this a bug or is it just a myth that they protect 100%?
  12. [Solved] Support Beam Range

Okay, another thing, I was mining next to my beams. to be exact, right next to the horizontal beam. and I had a small cave in... Why?
  13. [Solved] Support Beam Range

I know support beams cover a area o 9x9x3 (width x depth x height). But if I have two support post with a singlehorizontalbeam (block), is the 9x9x3 protectioncentered on just the horizontal? Or do the top of the verticals count?
  14. [Answered] TFC/TiC Compatibility question

The problem is that I'd have to swim... Since I'm on islands. So I wouldn't find any copper or animals. And I would probably die of thirst before I could get any where. And it had copper IIRC. But w/o clay, no way to use it.
  15. [Answered] TFC/TiC Compatibility question

Every thing noted... Sounds to hard to do ATM. So I'll go w/o it. Also, very interesting... My first world was unusable b/c I was stuck on a group of islands with no clay. And propably woulf of died before I got to more land. I might submit it as a bug or something... B/c it's suppose to be hard, not impossible.
