      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. Argh! Forgot to include that, sorry PlayerAPI is 1.4 for client and 1.5 for server. (TFC would not load from the mod folder in either instance, which leads me to suspect the problem is with...) Forge, which I tried both the 4.1.2.269 build as suggested on the download and install page and the latest which is 4.2.5.301. Like I said, everything seems to be in order now that I've just transferred everything into the .jar, but I'm just curious as to if I've been getting dud builds of Forge, or if I'm doing something wrong in the install. My install order was as per the download page: Forge into the .jar -> PlayerAPI into the .jar -> TFC into the mod folder Which eventually became: Forge into the .jar -> PlayerAPI into the .jar -> TFC into the .jar
  2. Animals!

To minimize numbers that an animal has to be assigned, maybe the "alpha" aspect can be tied to the same value that controls the animals size. The "biggest" animal is the herd leader by default, and if that animal is killed, leadership is transferred to the next largest animal in the herd. If Dunk wants to get fancy, he might put in a matriarchal/patriarchal/coed switch, where an animal herd might be forced to default to the largest animal of a specific sex.
  3. So some friends and I had been playing with build 48f, and since so many new things have been added, we took a vote and decided to upgrade to 52e and restart our server. I followed the directions, using the latest build of Forge, and PlayerAPI, and that seems to work fine. The issue is when I try to simply drop TFC into the mod folder -- nothing happens in game. I tried starting a fresh world, and it just booted up a vanilla 1.3.2 MC world. I then tried adding the 52e build directly into the .jar file, and now it's up and running, generating TFC worlds properly (both in SMP and SSP). While this is a "working" fix, does anyone have any clue what might cause a .jar upgraded with Forge and PlayerAPI to ignore the TFC files in the mod folder? Thanks for any insight.
