      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord ( is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  3. [TFC 0.79.27] Technofirma Mod Pack

Just sent an update request to FTB, if all goes well it should go live soon. It is licensed under the same licence as Blood Magic. WayOfTime is responsible for the original mod, and since this version is modified from his, you should NOT be taking bug reports to him. Once the update is live, the Official Public Server will be updated, and the map reset.
  4. I am going to include this mod in my modpack, Technofirma, available on the FTB launcher with private pack code technofirma.
  5. [TFC 0.78.X] Rusticam Melius v1.2.0

Seeing as how this addon is closed source, and the author hasn't logged into these forum since Dec 3, 2014, I'd say its pretty safe to assume this isn't going to be updated.
  6. [TFC 0.79.27] Technofirma Mod Pack

No, the only way to change TFC year length is in the TFC config, which I have done (raised it to 120 from 96) No, body temperature is not a feature of this pack.
  7. [TFC 0.79.27] Technofirma Mod Pack

If the disable button doesn't work, you can navigate to the mods folder and simply delete/move them.
  8. [TFC 0.79.27] Technofirma Mod Pack

You can disable the following to help improve FPS: Better Foliage Chunk Animator BackTools iChunUtil Better Rain You can either turn down the settings for Weather2, or remove it AquaTweaks Dynamic lights whichever minimap mod you are using Stellar Sky
  9. [TFC 0.79.27] Technofirma Mod Pack

Update 2.15.0 Forge Version: Added LaunchGUI Added Push and Shove Added Chunk Animator Added Herdcraft Full changelog:
  10. [TFC 0.79.27] Technofirma Mod Pack

This is from better sleeping. For now, I'd recommend disabling it. This issue is fixed next update. Did another check, the issue is overcast mode being enabled. You can disable this in the Weather2 options, view able on the escape screen. Fixed for next update.
  11. [Request] Localized Weather and Stormfronts

You removed CoroUtil, Weather2 depends on it.
  12. [TFC 0.79.27] Technofirma Mod Pack

For the rain sounds, it might be caused by better rain, I'll look into it for next update. I think I know what might be causing the issue with the flickering, try backdating Weather 2, I think that its update may be causing an issue.
  13. [Answered] TFC/TiC Compatibility question

TiC is not by default compatible with TFC. With Minetweaker, some TFC metals can be added as materials for TiC, but as far as I can tell, new materials cannot be created, meaning your stuck with copper, iron, and a few other metals for direct conversions. As far as TiC tool functionality goes, most tools work out of the box, except for the lumber axe and hatchet (haven't tested excavator yet). Lumber axe is basically useless as axe fell whole trees. TFC has the ability to register tools of ore dictioary value itemAxe as axes, but from trying to add TiC to Technofirma, I know that this cannot be done with MT (from discussing it with someone who knows java, it probably has somethine to do with when the hatchet is ore dicted, and when TFC checks for it). Keep in mind that TFC blocks have a ridiculus hardness value set on them compared to vanilla blocks, so unmodified tools will work quite slowly compared to what you expierance in vanilla.
  14. [Request] Localized Weather and Stormfronts

it is already compatible. As for recipes, you can use Minetweaker to fix the recipes for it's items, or find a modpack that already has it installed.
  15. [TFC 0.79.27] Technofirma Mod Pack

**Hotfix 2.14.1** Fixes physics bug Fixes snow, lightning rod, and barrels filling with rain water Fixes infuser recipe Fixes powering of Mekanism machines Updates some mods
  16. [TFC 0.79.27] Technofirma Mod Pack

Fixed Arc furnace being unusable Fixed Arc furnace being unobtainable Fixed physics for certain items Broke snow Updated many mods Decocraft blocks will need to be broken and replaced Added Project: Red Added Block Breaker Added Memory Cleaner Added Mapwriter 2 (replaces Opis) Added Remain In Motion Added Mekanism Removed Tubes Removed Waila Inhibitor Removed TFCUdary Removed TFC Finger In The Wind Fixed many recipes Made time span between sleeping and not sleeping longer Various other tweaks
  17. General Damage tweaking.

If your looking to make things harder, and don't mind adding new mods, you can always add block physics and better sleeping, while being hard to balance properly, they do make the game harder but not tedious if done properly. If your doing everything you say you plan to do, you shouldn't have to worry about making crops so incredibly scarce.
  18. General Damage tweaking.

You can use mob properties to change damage/health values.
  19. [TFC 0.79.27] Technofirma Mod Pack

Yes, I updated Forge and the changes to the fluid registry broke Thut's mods.
  20. AutoGenerate Buckets For Mod Compatability

Which is why I think a config would be better. That way, users who are adding mods liquids could then choose which bucket would work with the liquid.
  21. Have you read, understood, and followed all of the rules listed in large text at the top of the suggestions forum?(Yes/No):YesAnswering "no" to the above question will result in your post being deleted. Many mods add their own liquids, and have buckets for them. I suggest that either by config, or some automated system, TFC bucket variants be generated for mod fluids. This would increase compatibility with other mods in native TFC, without the use of specially made addons. Simply adding a vanilla bucket recipe is not only a very cheap solution, but it also breaks the feel of TFC, especially since vanilla buckets will place vanilla water, even though they were filled from TFC water. Thank you, kev12east
  22. [Solved]Barrel Fluid GUI Crash

Have you read, understood, and followed all of the rules listed in large text at the top of the support forum? (Yes/No):Answering "no" to the above question will result in your post being deleted.TFC Version #: Version #: note that an actual number must be provided for both of the above fields.Simply saying "current" or "latest" will result in your post being locked, due to the fact that in a large number of cases, users who say they are using the "latest" or "current" version are actually using an outdated version.SSP/SMP (SinglePlayer/MultiPlayer):SSpHave you deleted your config files or are using default configs and are still able to reproduce this bug? (Yes/No):YesIf you answered no to the above question, delete all 3 TFC config files (TFCCrafting, TFCConfig, TFCOre), do NOT edit or add to any of the files, and try to reproduce the bug. This question is here because many bugs are caused by mistakes in config files. If you are unable to delete your edited config files, please provide a list of the config options you have changed.Do you have any mods other than Forge and TFC installed? (Yes/No):If yes, which mods?CodeChickenCore, Not Enough Items, PneumaticraftIf you have Optifine or Cauldron installed, can you still reproduce the bug after uninstalling them? (Yes/No):YesIf you answered no to the above question, uninstall Optifine/Cauldron and try to reproduce the bug. Both Optifine and Cauldron edit the base classes of forge that TFC uses. Because of this, we cannot officially support any issues that happen only when these mods are installed. In the majority of cases, TFC is not causing the bug; Optifine/Cauldron is and TFC can do nothing to fix it.All bug reports should have an answer of "Yes" to this question. If you refuse to uninstall Optifine/Cauldron, and cannot reproduce the bug when the mods are not installed, do not bother making a bug report, as it will be locked and link of the Crash Report: to fill a barrel with Etching acid from pnuematicraft crashes the game. Whenever the client attempts to open the GUI, the game will also crash. This does not happen with Pneumatic's kerosene liquid.
  23. I have forked this project and updated it to TFC 0.79.24 it is here:
